You should make more video!! This video Inspired me that not to give up on dota cause I wanna be a Professional E-Sports player and I'm 15.. I just wanna concentrate more on dota scenes and join a team to fight in ti
Navi won TI1 and was 2nd in TI2, he faced reality and he won. If this was a docu about football you won't say such things. It takes just as much dedication and training to be as good as they are in a game. Of course all the other teams as well, when you see and understand the 10 man dance of death that is DotA, its beautiful to watch.
Notice something guys, this video uploader has a HL3 Logo. This means this documentary will be released one day after the release of HL3 In the year 3333
This will just be too sick. I've never even thought about the pro-players backstory before, I just figured out they were born with magical gaming powers and got picked up at age 10 or so.
At the time of the International 1 in 2011, which is what tobi was referring to in this video, that was the biggest prize pool for the first time. But the 5 million dollar LoL tournament happened not too long after.
At first I wondered why there's no stories about any of the Swedes. Then again, the biggest problem a Swede can have is having less than 4 bottles of booze in the house.
I actually don't even play dota 2 or dota. Still got chills from this, the stories behind the players is so awesome! I just hope starcraft 2 produces a good one soon :D
Does anyone actually know what happened to Dendi? (I understand the trailer suggests his father passed away without understanding/accepting Dendi's passion- with the reason he continues as a respite from such emotional suffering).
Damn this documentary is going to be epic. I don't really agree on quitting your education to pursue gaming completely..unless you are VERY VERY sure that this is what you want it life and you are VERY VERY sure you can be somebody in the gaming world.
I think the better comparison would be sports. A gamer is basically an athlete. We watch sports because its amazing seeing people play something that we also play at a whole different level. We'd go "I can do that" and try it out, only to fail spectacularly and have even more respect for what they do.
One way to forget about pain is to do something you will be in, completely. -Dendi
What the fuck is going on, this was supposed to be released to the public in August. It's STILL not available for us.
Valve Time

Poor dendi. Hyhy's parent should be proud of him. And Fear... perfect example of a talented gamer. No fancy stuffs, pure skills.
there will be advance screening on this at TI3, at the end of the day at 10 august to be exact

I can't wait for this documentary to be released!
Release this video already!. We've been waiting for a year now and plus people at TI3 has already watched it
Because life as a pro gamer is hard, and seeing his old setup probably brings him memories of his childhood and the start of his career.
this gives me the chills...

This is why DOTA is the original MOBA. These were the guys who went through huge struggles to establish a genre.
So when is the dota 2 documentary coming out? no dates?
This will just be too sick. I've never even thought about the pro-players backstory before, I just figured out they were born with magical gaming powers and got picked up at age 10 or so.

At the time of the International 1 in 2011, which is what tobi was referring to in this video, that was the biggest prize pool for the first time. But the 5 million dollar LoL tournament happened not too long after.

"One way to forgot about pain is to do something you will be in, completely.

- Dendi.
Indeed, true story.
They move on to the next game. Whether it be something similar or something completely different. This is the essence of a professional gamer.
