Wow, I’m loving the spirit class ships! We are sailing on the Legend to Norway next June and I’m so excited now. We also booked an aft balcony, one of the wrap around ones! Mainly for the view! What a unique ship. 🛳 🥰
That brings back memories. We sailed with Carnival for the first time on the Legend in Dec 18 - Jan 19 to New Caledonia and Fiji out of Sydney, Australia. Had a great time on her. Now we are booked to go to Alaska with Holland America next year.
I've been on bigger ships since, but the Legend will always have a special place in my heart. Your first cruise is supposed to be the thrill but for me it was the second..on the Legend. One of my favorite family memories..great ship! Bigger isn't always better.

Another great vlog. I usually book my rooms midship. Did you feel a lot of movement booking an aft balcony? I am curious because thinking of booking that type for Bermuda next year.
Pam Thomas We usually book mid ship like deck 9 or 10 as well. We did the aft because we wanted the aft views for Alaska. There was a little more movement, although Alaska was very rough the 1st couple days then calmed down and was fine. You do feel a little of the motor noise on the aft facing balconies. If you tend to get sea sick, you may want the mid ship. If not then go for the aft. You can see it all in the aft facing balconies & they are larger as well.
