I'm one of those guys who's always looking for the Holy Grail of golf game improvement. After watching your videos, the one step that has made the most impact (pun intended) is the set up. Man, just pushing the club straighter at address has transformed my striking ability. I'm able to start my swing on plane and keep it there to impact. Wow, this is so much fun!
I’m liking more and more your system. Watching myself on video it’s apparent that my hips are not opening sufficiently to get my hands far enough forward at impact. The setup produces straighter shots however. I’ve ordered a divot board and I’m considering online lessons from you. I do live in NC however and might try the Sanford school.
Another great video! Kirk, thanks for helping me to play my best golf ever starting at age 61 (8 years ago) and the improvement continues even today! I can't say enough about the Setup 4 Impact learning system, easy to learn, easy to execute!
Thanks Kirk. I continue to learn and benefit from your teaching. Recently, I’ve been combining set up 4 impact, which has helped me immensely, with keeping weight forward, stack and tilt (Tom Saguto) and conservative course management (Jimmy Tropicana). Seems like a good combination. Certainly interested in your thoughts. Thanks again.
Best to allow the weight to shift naturally. I find many people who run into issues trying not to let weight move. Some of these issues can be very hard to fix later.
Great video I have been using your method for 6 months now prior I did graves for 1 year My ball striking has improved with distance but having trouble with consistency I am thinking about the online program does the program take into consideration how advanced someone might be and do you taylor the reviews to match the level of ability within the set up for impact
Only 46yo and my back hurts so bad after 18 holes that I can barely walk. Spine compression is just too much. Would this method relieve me of that pain? Thank you.
Kirk, when you practice at home - do you use a launch monitor or Doppler radar and if so, what have you found to be effective? I’ve tried a couple of the cheaper models and they don’t seem to get the distance correct. No where near what I would hit to ball on the range. Thank you
I will use my Flightscope X3 which gives the club face and path data along with angle of attack, ball speed, and the distance. It is very accurate, but also expensive. I think the best bet for at home may be the Mevo+ from Flightscope with the pro package. You really need the face angle and path info, imo…
My first coach told me to set up with arms dangling from the shoulders etc. I asked him if the was supposed to sit toe up and not really square behind the ball and he just said "It's square." (and other nonsense) I can't relate to this orthodoxy of "correct/standard" golf technique. It's just making people hit balls until they somehow hit the ball forward in whatever way they can or injure themselves or both.
@@Setup4Impact i have subscribed to your program. Costs allot especially with our economy but so far so good. I have allot of work to do especially coming from a normal swing but very happy so far.

That is what we want. FUN, and easy improvement. Keep it simple and enjoy.

Thanks Kirk for your info, set up for impact results have been great straight 20 to 30 yards longer
Awesome!!!

Thanks Geezer!! You are one of my top success stories!! Shooting your age regularly, and teaching others to do the same!!
Always the best instruction! Thank you
Really enjoyed it!
I'm glad!
Good video!!
I have improved so much since starting your program thank you for all the work you do on videos you provide.
So great to hear!! Keep it simple and enjoy the game.

@@Setup4Impact . Okay, thanks again.
Hi Kirk, it looks like you set up with the ball towards the heel of the club. Is that right? Thanks
Great video

The method is customized for each individual golfer. Impact needs to be improved for better consistency. That is what my program focuses on.
Hello Kirk , what video application do you recommend.? Your videos are great; looks simple till one tries it! Thanks
My learning progam shows you step by step how to learn my simple method. More info at academy.setup4impact.com

It does for a lot of people that is for sure.

When Isetup for more of a neutral grip im sending it to the right. I like to favor a strong grip with the single plane method. Advice?
Use a stronger grip. I do as well.

That is mostly how it is done. So sad that people have to go through that, when just setting up for impact makes the game 100X easier.
Just to bad your online membership is so expensive for my country
What does one golf lesson cost in your country?
