- Shop with me at the Goodwill Bins. How to buy home decor when you’re on a budget!
If you’re new here, welcome! My name is Tiffany, I’m a Washington realtor, with a love for decor, design, and DIY. I especially love it when they can be done on a budget.
Today I am taking you along with me as I go shopping at the Goodwill Outlet. Here items are in large bins that are categorized into housewares, electronics, textiles, shoes, or clothing. You pay for items by the pound. I love the treasure hunt, and you just never knowing what you will find! I often find Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, and Magnolia decor pieces, and they cost no more than anything else in the store!
I did my best to find the suggested retail value of each item. Some of them are currently out of season, no longer in stock, or a vintage. I did my best to estimate the value of those items.
I hope you guys find this to be helpful and that it serves as a reminder that decorating your home and creating a beautiful space does not have to break the bank!

I discovered a great product that I bought at Home Depot in the plumbing department.It' s an adhesive ,clear when applied,called Goop...not to be confused with Goof Off which takes sticky labels off of items purchased.
If you want to add a knob,cement a crack,anything that requires adhesivesive,Goop comes in tube and is your product.I even used it to keep a traffic cone in place during a storm.I'm just a crafter,not affiliated with the company that makes it...but it works!

I probably should have tried, it was a beautiful rug! Do you have any tips for removing stains from area rugs (I believe that was a pet stain)?

I actually only know how to make iced tea stains on everything- not remove them. 🤣

Hi Carey. I understand it may be upsetting for some. I ensure you that I will get much more use out of it as a decorative piece than I would as a bread bowl. Maybe one day I’ll take up bread baking and snag one to use for that purpose. :)

You have been so blessed by going to the bends, you find the greatest perfect things to decorate your house with, or I'm assuming you may sell some things you're always getting nice things that you need to really decorate with. I really love watching you, you're a lot like I am but we don't have the bins where I live. We only have thrift stores and their prices are really gone high. Anyway, you've been totally blessed with the bands and you find exactly What You Need for your home at a fraction of the price You keep app the good work. Cause I love watching what you do
Hi Dorothy! Thanks! Great question! As a real estate agent, some of the items I set aside for staging, some I use in our home, some I give to family and friends, and some I sell. My goal is to get the rest to ministries/organizations that can pass them along to those settling into homes who might not be able to afford home decor. Thanks so much joining me here! 🙂

Those white wire racks are for dishes in your cabinets! They're sold almost everywhere. They're so you can use more space in your cabinets for dishes and not waste dead space. Great finds again! Great score on the pumpkins and the dough bowl!!!!

The round wooden board with handle is a cutting board; handle is for hanging or for handling the board. A great find!
