    Really interesting method. Usually, the boss says what he thinks and nobody dares questionning it. Or a consensus will rise and people will not go against it.

    Hello, Respectfully - There is a richer understanding to be gained by asking everyone to say why they voted the way they did. You can’t assume that everyone’s 80 is for the same reasons. Once all of the understanding is added to the conversation you will often see others adjust up or down. Just hitting outliers, can reward overly skeptical or pessimistic people and lose the perspective of those in the middle.

    Hmm, how do you get the cards back to the individuals without unmasking the "5". I'm presuming a planning session where there will be multiple questions.

      if it's safe enough they just put the cards on the table in front of them. If not, could pile them up into an anonymous pile, or use electronic polling. If the "5" doesn't speak up we challenge the group to come up with reasons WHY they are the right ones!
