I'm impressed with how "Made in the USA" used to mean something special. Quality, well-made, excellence. I sure hope we can get our country back to what made us great again. Awesome vid, Chris!!
I was only 4 yrs old whan this car was built, I am 71 years old now, the 50's were a magical time to see new cars of that era come on line, even Tailfins!
Made me chuckle @ 6:37, when grabbing the new fuel filter from the hardware bins I noticed the 3rd drawer below is labeled "Sea Shells" and the one below that is "Mouse Traps". Everything needs it's own place...I approve!
This format works superbly well, the scenery there is epic - its like England on acid! It worked this way round, bleeding brakes after the snowy scenery wouldn't have worked LOL!

Nice song 2 stroke motor haha... i love that smell first thing in the morning when i turn on my 1997 Yamaha Jog 50c hahaha
1:00:11 Yea I hear ya mate! I live in Canada and the winters SUCK here for that. Salt is a great way of melting the snow on the roads but in doing so it destroys cars and corrodes bolts etc. Just crazy IMHO. I used to love winter as a younger man as I loved Down Hill Skiing Snowmobiling and sliding. We call it tobogganing (Well some of us still do) even though we really don't use them anymore LOL. But in my older years snow just means one thing to me now. Shoveling!! And the only real fun I get out of it is drifting my rear wheel drive BMW's. But that only lasts for a little while then I'm ready for asphalt and warm weather LOL!
Just to let you know, I’m 68 years old and your videos are great, your knowledge is amazing, I’m an old submarine sailor and we used to do the kind of stuff you do! Keep up the good work!
I still am in love with that Savoy. I'm so happy you get to enjoy her. She is in good hands. I haven't been on a sled in around 35 years. I really don't miss the cold.
Big dog's are good depending on how they are brought up, and Wether inside or out, but very loyal, and need to be tought to receive other people, all the best to yous
When I was a kid I had a buddy that had a cabin on East Branch lake up near St Mary's. In the winter we would take whatever snowmobiles were actually running all over the logging trails around that lake. It was so much fun and watching you Roger snowmobiles brings back great memories of doing that. We also may or may not have stopped by the Strain Brewery and picked up a couple of cases of cold snacks on the way
My father had a two tone green one when I was a kid. Three on the column. I learned to drive on that car. Thanks for the memories. I still miss you Dad.
If there was ever a guy that deserves a full-blown shop, it's you. Woodys track studs, you need them, on an old vintage sled. it won't help you out in the powder. But everywhere else, they will impress you..really liked this video!
My ‘54 Dodge Royal V8 2 door sedan with an original Hemi. Great car, fun to drive. When I purchased it there was still plastic from the factory on the back seats. $15 doesn’t go that far today. My brake cylinder failed when I tried to avoid a drunk pulling out on me. Grew up in a body shop and salvage yard, had a lot of access to cars and parts.
Great video! Learned something on the dodge brakes. Dont sell that car! Thats a nice cruiser.. on carb stuff- try bowen carburetor in Bristol.. ive been on a snowmobile once and it was a blast.. I bet hanging with Andrew and his furbabies was a lot of fun!
Awesome vid Chris.. one of my fav thing about this type and specifically your channel is the comment section. People are smart. People know shit, usually through experience. It's a culmination of knowledge through common interests. We all can learn so much!
Beautiful old car. Running sweet now too. Well done Mr. That snowmobile lump looks like a T500 head, barrel and carbs. There used to be a race series for the Suzuki T500 motorcycle over here back in the day. Twas good racing too. I had a Suzuki 500 gamma back in the day, which was the square four 500 2 stroke. Did 20 miles to a uk gallon no matter wether ridden fast or slow. So 120mph everywhere it was!. Some bastardo stole it after a year off owning it. Propa gutted at the time. Good video. Thanks Mr 😎
I enjoyed the mixed content as well Chris, that was part of what got me hooked on your channel was the adventures you enjoy, thanks for taking us along
Excellent video Chris :) Plymouth Savoy car and all work super for on repairs simple too ! Also 500 CC Arctic Cat Snowmobile great shape to I remember my late Uncle Bill one had farm it was 1974 Bombardier F/A ( Free Air) 400 twin cylinders plus carbs 5 gallon fuel tank! Mix 50:1 oil with 89 or 91 octane gas and he got motor rebuilt to 440 also carbs even new sparkplug plus wires and spark box too! ! Was great machine and was going buy off but got sold before could! Only need brake work and windshield plus headlight bulb also seat! Great both videos in 2 for 1 Chris do anytime!
I saw you two were hanging with Andrew Camerata I love the home he built and I love his dogs of coarse I worry about Levi funny I live only about 6 hours drive time from his area have fun!!
Good episode. I'd watch just to see what the Gus man is up to. Owned several Doxies when the kids were growing up. I like the old Ply Mouth or Mayflower as we used to call them.
nice thats why I left Bristol where I was born n raised i moved to Lyons Station area for a job at Dekka batteries East Penn Manufacturing...lobe your videos..👍🏻
Gus is in perfect harmony with this Plymouth! Always impressed with your versatile skills in mechanic, editing, drone filming. And love your adventures with Jen and Gus in the countryside. Keep on the good job!
Man I just love that little Plymouth SO much! And it was awesome seeing you work on the brakes with a genuine vintage tool as well! The vlog at the end was real nice too, that's an awesome trail there, but hoo boy did I have to burrow under the blankies while watching it, hee!
Thanks for the video! I have a 1947 frazer and the brakes are adjustable like your car .now I’m will go through the brakes like yours did and now I know a little more what to look for ! it’s a very solid car and it runs very good has a 6 cylinder red label . With a over drive so thank you for the lesson on this I’ve owned this car for about 40 years . 👍🦦
Hey there Chris, that’s has to one of the biggest fidget spinner I’ve ever seen. Coolness 😎. Love them olde tools also… Thanks for sharing your knowledge. God’s blessings to all.
As always, great content Chris! I learn something new every time I watch your videos. Not to mention the old school cars where just built to last. The newer cars don't stand a chance at lasting years and years in good condition past it's time. Love the fact your bringing all these old girls back to life. Thank you and keep on keeping on brotha!
Great video. I can’t decide which half was better. Cool car stuff with brake adjustment tools to ice packed trails a bit to steep. Really enjoying your channel. Thanks
I did not have time to watch all of this earlier but I have now and I think that it was an excellent video! I like all of it , the Plymouth and the snowmobiling. It looks like the skis on the Cougar really were not wanting to slide along too well , like they were sticking and holding you back.. On my Polaris I put some "Ski skins" on my skis and they made a HUGE difference! You might want to check into them Chris. Thanks for taking us along and thumbs UP to you and Jen. 👍
Wow that's a cool ass big ass bearing you got there dude and a heck of a job rebuilding that rear wheel seal and that carb sounds good now those drone deals are freakin cool I'd get me one if I was younger it's too high tec for me I'm afraid I think I'd crash it the first time and oh yeah I'm from montana and i do not miss the escapades of driving in snow you gotta be young like you are to deal with that weather
I like the mixed videos with repair and vlog content. The seal repair was absolutely top-notch, I have the highest respect for "parts stores are closed but I have to put this back together tonight" type fixes. Awesome work and fun with a fantastic deal snowmobile, good stuff.
Great video Chris. I have a 1950 Plymouth deluxe coupe and love it, you should really consider keeping the Desoto. The way I see it is when will you ever have an opportunity to own one that clean again?
Spent a lot of time in Roxbury in the 1990s and early 2000s, a friend built a house not far from the road that John Burroughs had a cabin on. Pretty area. Chappies was called 'Bud's' back in the day, an old diner that was open for breakfast and lunch only. CHEAP food, and they sold workboots and work clothes in the back - mainly full of farmers having breakfast after doing their chores. Then Bud retired and a hipster made it into 'Taste Buds' and the prices went way up. And now it's what you went to. Always thought about living in that area but monday - friday it's totally dead. No hospital and a bad school made it a 'no'
Thumbs up 👍 thanks again, you’re putting together a really great video. As you can see from the comments everyone has posted the fun, with what you have done ✅
When I was a kid, my dad had a 53, Plymouth Cranbrook, I don't know if it was the cheapest model or not. Flathead 6, I remember he had to have the starter replaced, the mechanic that changed it told my dad, that had to be the biggest and heaviest piece on the whole car. I never realized the brake adjustment was so complicated.
If I had to chose only one channel to be subscribed to in all of TH-cam. It would be NNKH. The variety of content and machines is fantastic. Seeing different neighborhoods and the industrial buildings of old along with the great outdoors. Love it all. Thank you Chris and Jen for adding this content for us to enjoy. Oh, and the aerial drone footage is a game changer too. P.S. I subscribe to a lot of channels including VGG. But yours is the only one that I watch all content for.
Go to buyraycon.com/nnkh for 15% off your order! Brought to you by Raycon.
That Plymouth would be a daily driver! Youd enjoy the trails up here in Wisconsin!😎
Maybe look into farebeating a small winch
I come here to watch Gus, and get the bonus of learning about cars!
im not a car guy, I wish I was but I do have to say, I LOVE that tool. It has 1 job and does it well. Nice! Great work on that!
I'm impressed with how "Made in the USA" used to mean something special. Quality, well-made, excellence. I sure hope we can get our country back to what made us great again. Awesome vid, Chris!!

Keep the Plymouth.
Gotta do an Alaska trip in Rigs eventually. Best Channel
Enjoyed the snowmobile part
"I love the precision" then proceeds to clank-it on the ground ... duuuudeeeee.... Love this project...
Made me chuckle @ 6:37, when grabbing the new fuel filter from the hardware bins I noticed the 3rd drawer below is labeled "Sea Shells" and the one below that is "Mouse Traps". Everything needs it's own place...I approve!
When I am struggling with a repair and I am ready to give up, I think, "what would Chris do" and dude it works every time!
WWCD!
It was a good idea to put the VLOG with Jen in this video. I enjoy that sorta stuff just as much as the wrenching.
I love having 2 in one. You and skip around or watch it all. Thanks to you and Gin.
This format works superbly well, the scenery there is epic - its like England on acid! It worked this way round, bleeding brakes after the snowy scenery wouldn't have worked LOL!
Nice song 2 stroke motor haha...
i love that smell first thing in the morning when i turn on my 1997 Yamaha Jog 50c hahaha

this is such a beautiful car, i'll bet it put smiles on everybody's faces when they see it

Glad I'm not the only one that regularly uses the word " Splooge" while working on cars.
That car is awesome. I love the style from that era.
Love the channel Chris. Laughing at your seashell drawer. 😆
Me too 😂 in all the years in and out of the garage I’ve never noticed that. Lol
Love your varied content. Youre a lucky guy, Jen is so cute.
Love the old Plymouth. Great channel 👏
Just to let you know, I’m 68 years old and your videos are great, your knowledge is amazing, I’m an old submarine sailor and we used to do the kind of stuff you do! Keep up the good work!

Funny how you got distracted with that roller bearing like a dog seeing a SQUIRREL! 😂 Love this channel and the content.
Every good mechanic does that.
I’m guilty of that always! It’s my ADD… you can distract me with a shiny nickel sometimes 🥴
I wish i got into vintage tool collecting, that stuff is now very fascinating to me now.. good stuff man.
The mad scientist is back! I love when you release the videos, the longer the better!
Agreed!
3 pm in germany the best u can do is watching a new nnkh video. love it

Your a lucky man to have Jen in your life. She is very beautiful and always seems to be in a good mood for anything.
Great combo-video! Work and fun combined 🎉
Nice babyblue oldie!
Think Jen has got some old stuff experience...
"Stayin' here when you work out the kinks"..😊😊
I enjoyed the whole video! Thanks for sharing!
That was great! Love when Blue got a ride LOL!! I wish one of the big cable channels gave you a chance at a show..
Liked the vid, especially the snowmobiling. we don't do that much in the winter down here in Alabama, so much appreciated.
Every ride with Gus is a GOOD ride!!

Put some studs on the track. It'll go anywhere. Nice video starring Gus!
Love the Plymouth Dad had a black one with red trim loved that car .👍🏻💯🇦🇺
I love this old savoy man! I like older 1930-1950s cars they look so cool!
That’s cool you’re hanging out with Andrew
33:23. Gus's eyes and the interior/exterior color of that Plymouth are amazing! And 43:30 made me realize I never get on a snowmobile again.
My father had a two tone green one when I was a kid. Three on the column. I learned to drive on that car. Thanks for the memories. I still miss you Dad.
Fantastic, loved the whole Vlog but the snow cats were unreal , great camera work, cheers from Downunder ❤️🦘🦘🦘

The joys of snowmobiling 😆 Been there, done that, sticking with 2 wheels !
Love the mix of the two Chris, great vid as always👍🇮🇪

Hanging with AC...super cool, two of my favorite youtubers.
I was at a car show today and saw the Dodge version of this. Pretty cool.

Yeah I think riding snowmobiles alone is not the easiest thing to do and luv seeing the Savoy
Great job love the snowmobiles!
That car is build for you Chris. I would keep it...such a lovely pair.

Wow, thank you Anthony. I appreciate the kind feedback and thanks so much for tuning in to the channel
I agree he is great ,the stuff he shows us is really amazing.
Love how he gives Jen the helmet, lol-- I used to do that all the time.
Another fine production from NNKH !
Thanks for demystifying the brake adjustment process.
New 'old' tools are the best! Tried, true and they seem to possess the character of true technicians.
Good job Chris &Jen! Enjoyed the snowmobile part.
Rob&Jan
As commented in the last ‘54 Plymouth video, my dads daily driver was a bear to start.
The old school steering wheel is awesome.
Very cool tools. Ahhh those were the days....the 1950's...That car is the same age as I am....
Good mix up man. Appreciate it 👌🏼
