Lol that was yet again hilarious, I have always loved 'Not Going Out', will always be a fan and I love Lee Mack, great comedian, keep up the good work. xxxx
Hey hun, yes I know what you mean, I did prefer it with Daisy and Tim in the show, but the new characters have slowly grown on me and all the while Lee Mack is making it and in it I am going to continue to watch it and laugh. AML. xxxx
One of the best sit-coms, what I have ever seen screened here in Hungary. There are good American ones, too, like Frends, Or HIMYM, but this special British/European style makes it a bit more familiar and special. The characters are lovely and I respect that from Season 8 they dared to change the formula with just minor quality loss (the children actors just don't fit in, miscasting). Thanks God on Lee Mack's channel most episodes can be watched, even new ones. At least I don't lose my knowledge of English, watching them. It is a pity, comments are prohibited there, so I can express only here my wish for further seasons.
There are also some other UK sitcoms floating around in YT. Full episodes of Father Ted, Toast of London, Black Books and Desmond's for example, not everyone's cup of tea but might try an episode 😁
@@tellstarrsixtwo7120 Maybe I will give it a try. To be honest here in Hungary British sit-coms are very rare. This is the first one, I got addicted to, to be honest. I know some legendary ones from the 80s-90s, like You rang, M'Lord? or 'Allo, 'Allo; luckily they were broadcasted here too, but neither of them made me want to watch them even in original. You know hundubbing is trully quality work and in spite of understanding quite well that I prefer dubbed versions, so if I watch anything volunteerly in English for fun, that means something. Anyway thanks for the suggestions I will have a look at them on imdb first maybe I will change my mind connected with them. :)
@@peterburke3944 Yes with WAAAAAY too much of family fights in the later seasons it became almost tragicly torturous and unwatchable. Yet watched every single episode because I'm the biggest Lee fan for decades!
Yes I liked Terry's touching smirk when he says that line. :) This emotion seemed involuntary, I wonder whad does it mean and what Terry felt that second that sparked that smile.
You'd be hard pushed to find any sitcom in the last 30 years using canned laughter. Certainly for British sitcoms at least. Filming with live studio audiences became popular again in the 1970's. Towards the end of the 1980's, the laughter track (or Douglass Track to give it it's proper name) was pretty much a thing of the past. There are exceptions of course, where fake laughter was used through until the early Noughties.
@@ShineBrightEdits oh I see. Since it started so abruptly and without us seeing Lee kill the carp I assumed there was more to it. Thanks for the upload
It's weird how Lee is talking as himself, but the other two are staying in character

I love the show but just wish they hadn’t changed it after season 7

Daisy is hilarious I can’t stop laughing at the part when she starts giving the number to the local Chinese 😂
In case we'd forgotten how brilliant Terry was... as if! Thanks for uploading this.

I too learned all my English through sitcoms!
Funny considering me not even being able to visit one of the English-speaking countries!
lmfao, the bit where hes showing stuff that isnt real then smacks the vase across his head!🤣
'I always thought Not Going Out was a tragedy, now I realise its a comedy'
-Sir Terry
it did become a little tragic after series 7 when the kids came into the show so terry wasn't too far from the truth

Did they film all not going out with studio audience? So those are not laugh tracks?
Yep the show was filmed in front of a live audience!

@@JimLem I think they must use canned laughter for Nrs Brown's Boys, surely there aren't enough complete morons to fill an actual auditorium...
Bbc news should have a laughter track
How have I never seen this? Where can I get full episode?
This is the full episode, it was just a 5 minute children in need special.

@@ShineBrightEdits The frame rate looks off. Is this how BBC uploaded it?
Well that answered a question for me, the flat no# should be2017
SB is really good at pretending to be drunk. I don't how Lee kept a straight face when she was talking to him 'drunk' in bed
i did actually think this was going to be an actual episode in series 6 and 7 except without terry wogan
