Mr. Hall, I also wanted to thank you for your books, videos, and website. I sincerely appreciate these kinds of projects: indicator accessories and grinding rests are the kind of thing EVERY home shop machinist needs.
Partly because of you, I just discovered that a digital subscription to Model Engineers' Workshop is available on this side of the Atlantic at a reasonable price (including access to back issues). I've now got a near infinite list of projects for the shop, which pleases me no end. Thanks!

Thanks all for your comments. Unfortunately though, at 84 (2017), I now find it necessary to limit my involvement in my website and videos as the brain is not as agile as it once was.
However, should you want to contact me, use the contact page on my website, here, www.homews.co.uk/page6.html . Do please read my comments there before posting.

Where is the info on your internal bore indicating attachment (you know, the one that no longer fits your dials)? I looked at your web page and I could not find it.

Steve, this has only been published in an early copy of MEW, (issue 16 1993) its not even included in the "Model Engineers' Workshop Projects" book. However, I have taken note of what you say and added a page detailing it on the web site. A link to this can now be found in my introductions above. Harold
