While maximum Hindus use Marathi for reading and writing and for religious and cultural purpose. Ganesh festival is popular festival as 90 % Goan houses bring idol for 5 to 7 days. During Shravan and Chaturthi days, Hindus even if he is drunkard, he will strictly keep himself away from alcohol and non veg food.
