You can use low cost after image strikers like Pan, Roshi, and Krillin to keep Super vegito alive in the back, only to turn around and win because you saved your monster of a character for last. Even if the goal was to stall anyway. It sort of just changes the order for what people are already doing. Health percentage takes advantage of the fact that a lot of people who stall are severely lacking in hands. They lose 2 or 3 characters and only take one. Health-wise, that still leaves you generally winning since you have 66% or more left while they effectively are down to 40%. Granted, healers are still strong, but that's a matter of making it harder to heal. If they slowed down senzu bean to be slow enough that you can really only use it when your opponent is trying to lock onto you, that would solve 99% of the problem with healers.
I've heard that Dabura's evil breath main use is to negate raw supers (mainly beams, I don't know if it negates rush attacks too) without relying on super precise timing. You might be able to use Dabura to counter those unblockable super spammers

The only thing that makes combos practically useless is super counters, as you said, I think they should add a 1 skill cost to super counters and make revenge counters more viable and work when getting backshot, not to mention vanish wars need variable timing in the hits to show more skill expression, and to get rid of unblockable ults that do 20k+ damage

The most important thing to note about Babadi is that his Wizard Barrier can block basically _any_ super if you time it right, as well as all beam/projectile ultimates (EVEN ones that would be considered unblockable) perfect for insta sparking cheesers. He's a very defensive character with low damage output (outside of his ultimate which does pretty big damage and lingers for a while, making it pretty good for punishing dashes or rush attacks), but has his niches in certain teams.
Super counters are great. I know a lot of people in the comments are saying they ruin the flow of the game, but it really emphasizes the resource management aspect of it. I think it raises the skill ceiling. That said, the fact that the input for super counters is the same for brainlessly mashing rush attacks is something I cannot forgive. There isn't a frame lockout on mashing super counters either, so it doesn't actually show off that much skill in the scramble. Making the input for super counters forward + guard would make so much more sense since you aren't going to steal turns if your opponent tries to predict your defensive option (I play against people who mash super counters, perception, and guard in a circle. You can tell because when you try to grab their perception, the hit you one or two times with rush, guard, perception, and then start rushing again). Adding a 3-8 frame lockout for super counters, and changing the input to forward + guard or forward + perception would be waaaaay better. For as powerful as supercounter is, it should not be an option select. Great video Argin!
Characters with instant transmission are really good against Z broly and the like. It breaks their lock on, and you can fly up or down and away to change planes and waste their sparking timer or ki charge yourself. It’s very good.

I know this is not the popular opinion of people who are big fighting gamers, but I think it’s important to keep in mind that people like me exist. Also I feel like fusing characters in match is a throw most of the time, vegito for instance is a 7 cost character that you are using 10 dp for in order to fuse in match.
Fusing mid match the character is better than just picking them stat wise same thing with picking 1st form frieza and then going through his transformations is stronger than just picking final form
fusing feels very strong to me with buu saga goku and vegeta, you get to mess around with both and then full heal and pull out one of the strongest characters and it doesnt cost too many extra points

And lowkey i feel like the character selection is so boring. Its legit filled with the same characters and half of it is random ass bullshit lmfao. Idk i get to character selection and i find my self looking through everything at least ten times before im like i guess ill play with this character only to get cheesed by a fusion lmfao

They need to change it to damage dealt instead of health remaining to counter stall/healing/constant switching
