This just highlights how bad inequality is in society. There's no middle ground, either you're "broke" (-9k) or you're "rich" +200k). Middle class is no longer a thing.
This was what they had in their bank accounts, not what their net worth was. The ones that seem rich might have major debts. The ones that seem poor might have a lot of assets that are worth a ton. So there's no saying which class they actually fall into
we should've known that when people say they have enormous amount of debt, that's probably because their business has so much bigger income, that they can afford that debt
I still do lol, I just bought a house and invested all my money before I pay my debt because I can earn a higher % per year than my interest on my loans and have more in the long run.
You should have all the people rank the others and exclude themselves just so others don't know where they place themselves. So instead of ranking 1-5 everyone would rank 1-4.
What's impressive is how they remember everyone's names. i'd have forgotten and embarrass myself when ranking them. "Umm.. and you're the poorest. Sorry I can't remember your name..."

@@scienceshortsftw interesting. For this video, what was considered "bank account?" Only checking, savings, CDs? Or did it also include brokerage account?
These numbers don’t mean anything. They don’t account for debt and if you know anything about business, you keep the money in the business and out of your personal account to avoid taxes.
Unpopular opinion: It's a little sad that someone who's trying to get a PhD and probably worked so hard to get there, is last but the dude who makes random videos has 600k in the bank... like wtf society. (they're all really nice though!)
When he said his debt amount that should have tipped everyone off that he had money. One doesnt tend to accrue that kind of debt without proving to lenders they are capable of paying them back
Lol naw I'd rather have knowledge than money. In fact I'd rather have all the knowledge in the world than any money or ammenities at all. Maybe that's extreme but I'm standing by it.
My order was Jinny, Dominic, Scott, Elaina, Hillary Dominic and Jinny being the top two was too obvious, and their respective net worth could have easily been the other way around. Same with the bottom two, there is barely any difference between having $2k or $7k in the bank. I put Hillary at the bottom because she is only 22 and therefore hasn't had enough time to accumulate money through work. I wish they would have included a millionaire tbh.
Before finishing, I feel Scott is up there. I know someone who acts familiar to them and they are well off and live a great life yet so humble you wouldn’t expect it immediately
I agree with Jinny at the end of the whole video. It’s very difficult to tell who has money. Some people look wealthy, but they’re just all show and broke. Others look broke, but are very wealthy. I don’t think anyone could tell at all what I earn based on my pants and shirt.
Here’s my thing: having money in the bank can potentially be money you’re burning: it can’t beat inflation and it certainly won’t actually build your wealth unless you have millions. You’re better off taking a 1.5% yield in an index fund than having money in the bank imo. You can be worth $100m and only have $250k in your bank account.. Sorry guys, I think an excessive amount in one bank is just silly.
so if you get a paycheck you dont let it sit in your account for a week? i think people get confused that because someone has money in the bank it must mean it sits there. i get paid monthly and that was that months payment.
@@scienceshortsftw you can pay almost any expense in advance. No one is going to be upset about getting their money sooner. The logic is that the longer (and sometimes more) you have in your account the less buying power it has over time.
$100 for that outfit of three items?!? I'm here with my hand-me-down jeans and a hoodie i bought for $2 at a garage sale, any shoes i have were thrifted or given to me, most i paid for was $15 for some hightop converse and even then i cringed at the price lol.

Same hehe cx I'm proud of Hillary and proud of you too, it's okay ❤ and proud of me too!!! We're still here and still doing and money isnt everything! Are you able to talk to a financial advisor? Some banks have them for free!
Jennie is definitely the richest, based on her owning a big business she could sell that for potential millions while the dude is 200k away just purely from a bank account standpoint, Another example would be Elon musk paying barely any taxes for the amount of money he should be making but so much of it is in stocks and his company he really doesn’t have that much personal income coming in that can be taxed not to say he’s not a multi millionaire
You guys should’ve did two rounds. One where they only do it by appearance. Two they can talk and ask questions. If that’s what you already did and I came to comment before finishing the video I’m going to cry 😭

@@scienceshortsftw interesting. For this video, what was considered "bank account?" Only checking, savings, CDs? Or did it also include brokerage account?
homeownership is the biggest indication of wealth.
These numbers don’t mean anything.
They don’t account for debt and if you know anything about business, you keep the money in the business and out of your personal account to avoid taxes.
The girl in the black turtleneck is such a baddie😩💯
Omg Occupational Therapy!! Yaaas Elaina repping the OT💚
Rich girl “I went to Harvard, Yale, and Princeton” Richer dude “I made a video of the picture of the rock”…life’s interesting
Can't believe they didn't picked the content creator at number 1. It's kind of obvious. Content creators make ALOT of money
Watching this made me realize to me they are all pretty rich compared to the average person
One doesnt tend to accrue that kind of debt without proving to lenders they are capable of paying them back
four years of university can be 150k in debt and then a masters degree could be another 150k. So not necessarily
Dominic had the confidence like someone who is well off and doesnt have ot worry about stuff
A new evidence that learning and degree don't give you money these days
Instead of going to college .. go and post on tik tok
well the idea is shes gonna make 6 figures after graduation…. so
Yea the thing is not everyone makes it like if he didn’t win that competition he wouldn’t have that money
@@jackhughes1234 but still .. social media and content creators make more in less time .. and less effort
Lol naw I'd rather have knowledge than money. In fact I'd rather have all the knowledge in the world than any money or ammenities at all. Maybe that's extreme but I'm standing by it.
@@danaaish4429 yeah but there is over saturation. It’s easy to make the content but not everyone gets the popularity
As a recent grad of occupational therapy I'm so happy to see another future OT in a video☺☺
My order was Jinny, Dominic, Scott, Elaina, Hillary
Dominic and Jinny being the top two was too obvious, and their respective net worth could have easily been the other way around.
Wow go Dominic! I was wrong
I agree with Jinny at the end of the whole video. It’s very difficult to tell who has money. Some people look wealthy, but they’re just all show and broke. Others look broke, but are very wealthy. I don’t think anyone could tell at all what I earn based on my pants and shirt.
Weird flex but ok
People sleep on content creators, that’s where a lot of young & new money is coming from!!
Should out to Elaina, I hope she makes bank soon😭
What does money in the bank have to do with anything? How about net worth?
Jesus that gap from 7k all the way to 215k
They all have thousands in the bank and here's me with minus £2000 in
the bank and student debt for a degree I was unable to complete. Well I
feel even worse after watching this haha. I laugh but honestly I could
cry.
Same hehe cx I'm proud of Hillary and proud of you too, it's okay ❤ and proud of me too!!! We're still here and still doing and money isnt everything! Are you able to talk to a financial advisor? Some banks have them for free!
Actual ranking is exactly what I picked, Harry you're a wizard
it’s so crazy to me that there are people out here with more than 400k in their bank account
scott is straight up goals i-
Jennie is definitely the richest, based on her owning a big business she could sell that for potential millions while the dude is 200k away just purely from a bank account standpoint, Another example would be Elon musk paying barely any taxes for the amount of money he should be making but so much of it is in stocks and his company he really doesn’t have that much personal income coming in that can be taxed not to say he’s not a multi millionaire
Uhh Elon literally paid 11 BILLION DOLLARS in taxes lol how is that barely any??
You guys should’ve did two rounds. One where they only do it by appearance. Two they can talk and ask questions. If that’s what you already did and I came to comment before finishing the video I’m going to cry 😭
mans really made 1mil off a snapchat video
Pretty disgusting how some people don't have to work for a living and be rich.
@@WesleyWyndam-Pryce Very true. lol
I don’t think it’s easy but it definitely is lucky
@@WesleyWyndam-Pryce It's just unfortunate, but life has never been fair. Some people will never have to put any effort in to make enough to never have to work. Others can work hard their whole life and get nowhere.
@@WesleyWyndam-Pryce I did post 840+ videos to win that money. Not easy. But def very lucky to have that opportunity.
How was dominic rated last when he had almost 400K in debt. Huge debt is a sign that someone spends all of it on assets.
its actually insane how ONE social media video made someones 20 year salary
Nah he clarified in the comments he’s made over 800 well performing videos and filmed 5000 videos
i like how everyone is talking about doing big things with huge debt and then scotts just enjoying his life
Most normal looking group of people I’ve seen on this channel
Dominic and Scott are humble 🐐
this shows that youtube, tiktok, any social media can be a job just treat it like one. Have a schedule and grind and you’ll eventually do what you love for a living
So Jinny has rich parents bankrolling her and Dominic hit the "lottery" with Snapchat. The other 3 are coming up from nothing.
I’ve never had even $7,000 in my bank account wow.
jubilee is easily the best youtube channel lately, it’s all i watch lol i wish there was more videos i’ve watched so many
I knew Dom was #1 when he said he was in 300k debt😂
I was putting Scott pretty high because I know several people who work in utility departments and they get paid well. Also he didn't say anything about college debt. Plus, nobody becomes a meter reader because it's their passion in life, they do it for the money. So since he's doing it for the money, it seemed like he'd be taking advantage of it and investing well. Turned out he was in the middle of the group, but I'd still rank him most financially stable.
