Thanks for sharing my friend have subscribed 👍🏻🇬🇧🤠looks like a great event we’re was it ? Keep up the good work and content and keep it scale Dave in Cornwall, some awesome crawlers too
I feel like expensive rc crawler are supposed to be able to drive up a rock that is tilted at 86° without problems. But maybe the fun is in the challenge of making your rc crawler go beyond that obstacle no matter the difficulty. So maybe i got the idea of this obby wrong, is it really about overcoming challenges? Please let me know.
I’d love to start in this …. As a beginner could anyone advise on a really solid car/make and roughly how much it would cost to get going with a half decent car please . Thank you
It's great fun crawling. There's lots of different options, it really depends on your budget and location and what you're looking for, e.g. Scale rig, rock crawler, trail truck etc. On the cheaper side you've got things like Carisma and Element, then on the more expensive side you've got Traxxas. Carisma and Element will be in the £250-350 mark, Traxxas more like £500. I'd suggest checking out some reviews and see what takes your fancy and how much you're willing to spend. I've got a few Reviews in my Reviews playlist that may help. 👍
@@DoURC thank you for replying …. I was thinking for my first car to spend at most around £100 ….. do you think that’s so able ? Appreciate your advise
@Algorithm347 Possibly if you can find something used. Other option is start smaller scale, like 1/24 or 1/18 as they're cheaper. You can buy WPL very cheap too, but they're not as good. Best thing to do is look online at options, like a hobbystore, see what you like the look of, as there's a lot of choice. 👍
For this one, it was just pay on the day, £10 per day. If you look for the Scale Nationals Group on Facebook all info will be on there. There is also the Southern Scale Trail event, again there's a group on Facebook. Not sure when the next dates are, but they'll update the Facebook groups when they have the next dates. 👍 Hope that helps. 👍
