      In Carnatic music (Indian music) scales are called ragas . This raga's name is ananda bhairavi . Ananda stands for Happiness. Listen to Desh , Bhoop and Hamsadwani ragas

      +sannidhya sharma Raga Bhoop is the Hindustani name, the raga is known as Mohanam in Carnatic music.

    I'm from western India, with no Tamil or Sanskrit knowledge, so I don't understand any lyrics, but this music track is so soothing and heart touching. I have repeatedly heard this for 50+ times in two days. the singing, EDM play, mridangam is excellent. Most importantly the smiling faces spreads happiness by resonating positive vibes
    Please do more such music compositions, be it any language.

      Yes Vinod absolutely correct. Even the north Indian Hindustani classical does not have the wide variety and range that Carnatic classical music has. The great Purandaradasa from Karnataka created the basic sa re ga ma pa da ni sa and many other things in Carnatic classical. Thereafter lot many great saints like Tyagaraja, ramadasulu and others have contributed immensly.

    For those that don't know, Thillana is a sort of collection of phonetically pronounced sounds and is typically used as interludes within many carnatic songs. In Hindustani music, it is akin to Tarana. They don't have any meaning per se. It's similar to saying "ba dum tish" to indicate the sound of a drum and crash. That said, in this song, they use actual lyrics, thillana, as well as carnatic musical notes. Just a brilliantly composed track overall this.

    wow I love this
    thank god for Indian music, western sometimes gets repetitive and its very limited melodicaly.
    no music even comes close to the melodical diversity of Indian music.

    Yes, amazing music...but more amazing are these vibrant faces reflecting the aura of indigenous Carnatic culture. Makes me think what I'm doing for keeping up my Indian culture?
