I don't want to hurt your feelings, but everything is easy, or possible at least, with a Merlin or a Waver. The question is to do something with a 3* without Merlin, Tamamo, Waver, and broken units. Sincerely, after seeing a lot of setups with the same broken characters, I find not surprising this match.
You are somewhat correct but I kinda disagree with something like Gilfest CQs. For instance, doing the Leonidas CQ with like Fergus + godly supports is still gonna be super difficulty vs like with Saber Shiki.

What I meant is with a Merlin or a Waver, in the end, one can manage to find a good strategy faster and better than without these ones. It was not my intention to offend you, just to say I was curious sometimes about seeing impossible strategies like this with a budget setup. Not the more efficient way of course, but sometimes one can see that Merlin has monopolized the whole game.

@@b1acksteve cause quick cards is the new ooga booga. The perfect line up for this Merlin , waver and caster shuten douji. Waver and shuten can deny izo's np and Merlin can buff shuten's buster NP and shuten has a pretty good face card buff herself with a very short cooldown. And with waver and shuten can stack poison on izo for extra damage. Another thing is waver and Merlin's np doesn't trigger Izo's defense up effects so you can go ham with arts card against him.
