I have build projects with my dad and uncle in my spare time building instruments, i'm currently bulding a telecaster. But i've already built a 6 string fretless bass. Plays beautifully and actually sounds similar to both of Les' 6 strings. Expensive but to my liking. I think it'll be a fun project, trying to build a pachyderm bass
@@-Bishop- my son built a fretless bass in grade 11 shop, I sounds pretty good but I must admit that he needs a lot more practice to sound as good as Les
Do it. Whatever it takes. Wasn't even a huge fan (only vaguely aware), and a buddy dragged me to see them last year. I've since bought four albums and am going out of my way to see them twice in 2022. Incredible show.

They used to not suck.. they just got old and it hurts to thrash and mosh. Im 25 and full of energy and when I go to concerts like this...there is a handful of party animals and 95% of the rest of the people look like stick figures. I feel like the odd ball out every time. Brit floyd was worse for me. I had at least 10 people come tell me that I was the youngest one in the crowd, and again im 25..that really really made me sad to think that I don't belong in my generation.
As a bass player for 35 years, Ivr always respected Les. But always thought it was kinda gimmicky or something...idk, I was just too closed minded when I was a younger musician...it wasn't til recently that I've seen his true genius. So unique. His overall songwriting, is genius
That guitar swap was absolutely epic.
holy shit just noticed
Les is THE wizard on that bass, but all three of them are pretty f-ing incredible.
Thank you for uploading this. I got the ticket just to see primus. I didn’t even watch any of the other bands and left straight after their set.
One of the best tunes. Got that heavy back beat, and then straight into the heart of the beat. And then the string echoing with the drums.
Claypool, Lalonde y Alexander son lo máximo! Los amo. 😎
Mr. Tim Alexander!! Bravo.
This sounds great. Thanks y'all
nice guitar change by ler

Gotta watch this to remember everything I forgot.
Les is a damn wizard

That bass guitar is so damn beautiful.
I'm gonna build one.

Tbf, looking at the fact Les is almost 60 years old and how intense his playing can be it's not really surprising. Tho he still absolutely kicks ass

Who’s Whitney Houston? 🥱
LaLonde's opening guitar riff he's trying to make his presence felt in a mostly bass guitar dominated band.
