    The 2008 Florida Gators deserve their own episode. So many players arrested from that team and they still won the national championship with Jesus own Tim Tebow

    I now sing Dead Giveaway any time it is deemed appropriate. If I'm in a conversation and say "Well, that's a dead giveaway", I immediately start singing the song. So thanks for that Suckmaster!

    I wanted to add that 1 thing almost all serial killers have in common is a head injury in childhood.

    • @ruvoodoo4862
      @ruvoodoo4862 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yep!! Many of them do. It would be interesting to study the corilation between serial murder and CTE.

      I heard Dan Cummin's father had several head injuries in sports while growing up, just saying.

      Did you learn that from Dan?

    • @megacide84
      @megacide84 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Back in 2006 on the old Discovery Crime channel. There was a show called "Most Evil" that featured a segment with Dr. Johnathan Pincus.
      He went over his theory that the three things to create a serial killer are underlying mental defect or illness. Traumatic head injury/brain damage. And finally, the one that sets off the powder keg... Horrific child abuse.
      To me, that makes far more sense than the Macdonald Triad.

    Excellent work on this one! I'm surprised you didn't mention Chris Benoit, the former pro wrestler who murdered his wife and autistic son before killing himself. After death, his brain looked like that of an 80-year-old man with Alzheimer's. His signature move was jumping off the top rope and performing a flying head butt on someone lying in the ring. File that under "No Shit," but in the 90's and early 00's, we didn't understand as much about CTE, I guess! His crime and death would be another great suck subject. (BTW, Dr. Chris Nowinski, who you mentioned near the beginning, is also a former WWE wrestler forced to retire due to head injuries!)

      What about the wedding rings or the names as wedding rings? Been married 29 years this March and always wanted to do that.

    • @AlabasterShrike
      @AlabasterShrike 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @jennifermarie7405 I think the issue is rarely the tattoo itself. It's the motivation behind getting it. If you're getting a tattoo after decades of marriage because you think the tattoo is cool or meaningful, you're probably okay. If you're doing it because you think you need to prove something to yourself or your spouse, maybe hold off a bit and see what happens. It's the people that go in at 22 with their girlfriend of eight months because "even tho I cheated I really love her" that have a problem, and they're way more numerous than the "I'm happy and dedicated to my spouse of nearly 30 years and want to show it with a cool tattoo i like", hence all the examples.

    The roasting of Aarons’ dad is hilarious. But his fathers warped sense of masculinity combined with an intense hatred for the homosexual demographic is not the most damaging aspect of his parental strategy. Allowing his son to be abused in such a horrific and vile manner for such a long period of time was far more destructive than any toxic values he could have ever instilled in him. It played a far bigger role in who Aaron would ultimately become as well.

    It kinds of puzzles me when he's called and was convicted of murder when I never heard proof he was the actual shooter in the murder of Mr. Lloyd. I feel so sorry for the victims families including that of Mr. Hernandez. The story just doesn't make sense. Maybe its no sense that could be made. What physical proof is there that he was the shooter? How was he held with no bail when all they had was gum? I'm not saying he didn't play a role but what role that garnered life in prison?

    I had two serious concussions, both while deployed, 5 years apart. Both were bad, the second was devastating.
    I am just glad it didn’t happen when I was a kid.

    • @Lukronius
      @Lukronius 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t believe the damage has to be done in childhood. In fact, being “punch drunk” (likely a term from before CTE was discovered) is a condition known for a long time and was used to describe adult boxers who had often not boxed as children.
      While your two concussions were very serious, they won’t cause CTE on their own, per se. That isn’t to say you couldn’t have had severe brain damage, just that CTE seems to be caused by a large amount of consistent, but often not particularly severe on their own, instances of brain injury. I hope you’re well.

    God Damnit Suck Master, I almost got a ticket from a Oklahoma state trooper because of the whole pregame speech that involved Oklahoma. The sad thing was I paused the episode but in the course of the DOT inspection he hit the pause button on the radio thinking it was the power button. Not a good day for me but it was funny. So naturally being from Texas I had to tell him a good joke. " Why does Texas say y'all? It's because we have to leave OU out " didn't help. Oh well 3 outta 5 stars wouldn't change a thing and tell the hysterical chick to calm down, just kidding I've been married for 23 years so I get it.

    I’ve lived in MA my entire life & am a diehard lifelong Patriots fan. I can’t put into words how much this case upset the fans. My cousin was on the same block in prison with Aaron for a little over a year & backed up the relationship that Aaron had with his jailhouse BF. It was the worst kept secret there I guess.
    A lot of people around New England & especially in MA believe he killed himself for his daughter. There’s a very old law in Massachusetts that if you’re in the process of appealing a verdict, all of your assets are untouchable by anyone other than your immediate kin. He knew that the families planned to sue for his estate in a civil case once it was processed but couldn’t do anything before that. However.. if he passed away before the case was processed by the courts to either approve or deny the appeal, his entire estate would go to his daughter. I guess he decided as a final act to actually do something good in his life for his only child.
