    Always enjoy this project so much and seeing how you put yours together. I absolutely LOVE how you said Hey, Sam when you got to his picture - I do that with pics of my pets and people!

    Thank you for sharing your life with us this way. I'm still working on finishing the assembly of mine, so I appreciate the inspiration.

    Amazing album and extremely inspiring. I have also been waiting patiently for you to finish, knowing that I will be inspired when I saw yours - and I was not wrong! 😂 thanks for sharing this, it’s awesome!

    I've been patiently waiting for this walk through 😊. Will there be another video sharing other years? Would love to see the differences of each year

      Hi! I've got all past years on my blog in the Week In The Life archives: www.aliedwards.com/blog?tag=Week+in+the+Life™. I also put together a new workshop this year that's called Storytelling With Week In The Life. That workshop has individual walk-throughs of each of my past albums all in one place (that I filmed this year specifically for this workshop): www.aliedwards.com/shop/classes/storytelling-with-week-in-the-life

    Amazing!! This is probably a question you've been asked a million times, so I apologize in advance if I've missed the answer elsewhere- on average how many photos do you think you take per day? I know there is no right answer and it will be different for everyone, but I think I would do better with this project if I had a set intention of taking "x" amount of photos per day. I think this is such an amazing project, and there is such value in it. Thank you for sharing the walk through of your album.

      Hi Kelly! What I often recommend is to start with the design formula in your album - your general set up. With that set up/formula you can establish how many photos you will likely use (most often it's less than people think they need to take). There are always ways to add more if you (such as creating photo collages). When I look back at my photos for the week (in my photo archives) I took about 100 on Monday - I almost always take the most photos on Monday. That includes duplicates/unedited photos. Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday was about 80 (again some that includes duplicates of the same image). I personally like having a bit of choice + I don't have issues with picking which photos I'll use (some people get stuck in the selecting photos phase either because they feel like they need to include all the photos they took or it's simply too overwhelming too choose).

    I’d love to know how you are able to achieve photos with you in them? (Like the ones while driving) I keep trying to get into unstaged photos but I’m struggling. I also HATE selfies…the double chin I get from trying to distance myself from the lens! 😂 This is so inspiring, I love your work. So far I only participate in December Daily, but the more I watch, the stronger the itch gets.

      Hi! I use a timer/remote on my camera (or phone). For the car I set my DSLR camera on the dash with the timer set. You can do this!

    Just a question regarding the 3x4 cards you put on the large photos, why did you decide to put them inside a cut down page protector instead of just adhering them directly to the photo? Thanks for sharing your album x

    • @AliEdwardsDesignInc
      @AliEdwardsDesignInc  ปีที่แล้ว

      I liked them inside a pocket - adds a little bit to it for me. I also wanted to show how you could easily write on the back or make them into a tag if you wanted.

    How did you do the page with the pictures from the kids? The page with all the cell phones?

    • @AliEdwardsDesignInc
      @AliEdwardsDesignInc  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a layered template so I was able to mask the photos inside the phones in Photoshop. We've got tutorials for working with layered templates on the blog - www.aliedwards.com/2019/04/week-in-the-life-2019-layered-template-tutorial + in our Hybrid workshop - www.aliedwards.com/shop/classes/hybrid-self-paced

      @@AliEdwardsDesignInc Thank you Ali. I just found the layered templates. I love the way they look for text messages which my granddaughters are always sending me. I have to admit I am quite intimidated by this project! I am leaving it for the first week in July when my granddaughters are in dance competitions in Orlando for a week. That will be fun.
