Jimmy Dickens was a gifted singer,he enjoyed singing at the Grand Ole Opry. I remember the late Jim Ed Brown saying that Jimmy sure had a way with singing. Mr Brown and Jimmy are still together with the Golden country singers in heaven. RIP Jimmy and Jim Ed. Great powerful and gifted singers.

I sure do miss this wonderful singer, he will always be a true legendary singer! I once saw him back on the Grand Old Opry December 1977!

Very, very sad. He was an old style country artist and made Johnny Cash seem like a pop artist. He can not be replaced.
