    Great interview! Parvati growing up doing murder mystery parties is delightfully on brand. Love that she loves Clue and Knives Out too ❤️ I’m so glad she touched on her dynamic with John because I kept noticing the edit putting them together. For him to be the one to deal the killing blow was a good full circle moment. It was also very interesting to hear about some of the behind the scenes things and the way people leaned into their tribe designations here too.

    Love to hear the behind the scenes stuff, it definitely seems like they got themselves backed into a corner in a lot of instances that just limited their options on who to try to recruit, who to kill, etc. Personally I think there needs to be a mechanism in the game where the traitors somehow get punished for turning on each other. What Dan did to Phaedra was so cheap and it's not fair that you're all forced to work together and come to agreements on who to kill, but then one of you can just flip and get a cheap victory (if it works) and be seen as a hero? Then we're also seeing the outside world forces seemingly play into game behavior. In all interviews Dan refuses to give Phaedra any credit for her gameplay. So basically when he knows he's being voted out, his ego kicks in because he's been beat by a housewife, and he just tanks her game for the sake of it. It's pretty ugly.

    Parvati, Rob and a lot of people have been wrong about Peter's motives for not taking the traitor recruitment. It was not this sanctimonious decision, the real reason is as Kate laid out, he simply knew he would be a bad traitor and get banished faster then he would get murdered. If I was him I might've done the same thing because I'm a bad liar and read easily.
    This is also why it was horrible move of Parvati to try get Pete. They got anyone else like a Sandra, there's a clear end game, in sticking together & play a numbers game. Because at that point it was clear the traitors cannot win at final banishment. If I was Parv I would pitch "Neither of us can win against Peter pals, they'd banish the leftovers at the end, so we just need to play a numbers game. Phaedra, Dan blew your game they're onto you and Sandra your a suspect too" Then they could've leveraged their numbers to banish peter pals and murdered the people in the centre. So like a CT. & put blame on Peter pals.
    Also illuminating how Parv thinks her game was done, when I've seen traitors in arguably worse situations and turn things around. The beauty about this game is there is always openings and things you can exploit or create things to exploit.

    • @nickyminaj709
      @nickyminaj709 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Ive seen all traitors franchise, no one has ever on Parvati shoes, her reputation will get her banish as faithful too. People already enter the game with their friends and allies, and Parvati only had Sandra. Cerrie reputation also the one that get her win, its not that shes super good traitor.

    • @aurei7775
      @aurei7775 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nickyminaj709 I can sympathize a bit that players like Kate came in, who have experience in playing this game and googled her and told everyone how dangerous she is, & her history, or that unlike survivor there's a time limit on collaborating with others. But judging from the show, interviews, that is not what was her undoing. On every metric from murders to decisions, to social game she played poorly. There is still a social element and her being on the outs seems to be a trend, there's beene survivor seasons where people had pre conceived ideas about players and had targets but these things dissipated once they got to know them and through their social skills
      & other players are also coming at a disadvantage because they're not used to playing a cut throat game. Bernie for example came in real nervouse and red and players thought he was traitor. That Politician guy has a target, many people don't like politicians. However you spin it everyone had some disadvantage.

    Thank heavens, Pretentious Parvati is gone.
    She says that nearly all the other cast members were rude to her because they thought she was a traitor.
    No…it’s because she’s smug and obnoxious. Utterly overrated. Not as smart as she tells people she is.

  • @aurei7775
    @aurei7775 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Parvati is one of the most overrated players in survivor. And I've thought this before even Heroes vs villains. In the season she won, reminder that half the cast were fans, & they never win these seasons, then there was like 5 quits/injuries, which increased her odds of winning by a lot & lot of the cast were terrible at the game. Then look at the players on favorites. James & ozzy who socially strategically were bad, Fairplay? Quits. Eliza? No body liked on her season, was lucky to not get eliminated ages ago. Penner? Injured. Amy? Made one of the dumbest moves in her season, otherwise maybe wins. So it always came down to Amanda/Parv/Cirie win. Then she got lucky that it was not a f3 but a f2 otherwise Cirie probably wins
    In HvV, she's on the outs and fails to integrate with the majority, got saved by Russell & capitalizes off dumb moves by Tyson, then by Rob by gunning for Russell when he could've got coach on board to blindside Parvati, gets carried by Russell, fails to protect her ally Danielle, otherwise maybe they win, or could've taken out Russell at some point to get his jury vote and get some respect. Fails on all counts and gets lucky from the beginning & blames everyone else for not wanting to work with her. Sorry but if people don't want to work with you that sounds like bad social game.
    And look in traitors, she's on the outs automatically with Dan, fails to integrate, which I recall pissed Jonelle off and made her turn on them because they did not talk with her, then Parv wonders why no one wants to work with her. Makes dumb move after dumb move, tries recruit Peter because that's all she has known in reality is have some mastermind that can carry her. Sure there are perceptions and she has a big target on her back, but I've seen people who had negative perceptions about people & gun for them pre game but change once they got to know them, it's called the social game.

    • @DarkAnge3714

      I about died laughing when you called Peter a mastermind.

      I hope Cirie would have been an overrated winner by your logic too.

    • @aurei7775
      @aurei7775 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I see you've missed the point. Of course he is not a mastermind but from the pov of Parv, in how she wanted him on her side because of the pull he had in the house, he fit that mold, because she does not have moves, she needs someone to make them for her and ride that train.
      Yes Cirie is of course also overrated, and she played like 5 times and failed to make it to the end every time, but that is another topic all together.

      @@aurei7775 No lol. It's fine if you think she's overrated but at least actually know her thoughts about things instead of making it up.
      She has said that recruiting Peter was not optimal but she thought it would be fun to do it so she did.

    • @aurei7775
      @aurei7775 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Here's the post motern episode 7. From Parvatis own mouth. I'll just leave it as that..
      "I tried to recruit Peter because he is so clever, it would be super fun to have him on my side & because he was gunning for me, so he would either have to stop.."
      "Fun" also proves my point, it was an emotional decision, not a logical. Also he declined because he would suck as a traitor, not the reasons Parv provided. Maybe if she played a better social game she would know Pete better & not fall for such bad moves. Also Phaedra did not agree with it, Parv brainlessly was pushing it hard because once Dan was gone she panicked and she is not competent to play a game like that & needed someone to ride her to the end.

      @@aurei7775 dans completely responsible for parvati's downfall, so you bringing up being overrated has absolutely zero relevance here. and even if peter said that, he most definitely had the most intelligent and strategic play as a faithful anyways, you just need to look at his gameplay and not take his word as gospel because had he been a traitor from the start, he would've done a lot of damage. Parvati made a logical choice by recruiting a strategic player, and he would have definitely played well either way.
