How to hike like a pro | MSC x Macpac | How-to Tramp and Hike Tips

Starting off tramping can be daunting so in this video we show you some key tips and tricks to level you up and tramp like a pro. It’s about being prepared, knowing yourself, making the most of the experience while making it home safe.
KEY LEARNINGS
Build a solid plan and have a backup plan if something goes wrong. Leave early to ease the pressure on your day
Sort out your equipment before you go and know how it all works. Pack it smartly on your person to keep you comfortable and make key items easy to access on the way
Prevent injuries by stretching, taking your time and watching your footing along the way, walking poles are a useful addition for any level of tramper. Treat blisters early and keep your feet dry.
Leave a trail of your whereabouts by signing into Hut Books and stick together as a group
Keep Aotearoa beautiful by carrying out all rubbish with you and leaving no trace.
