I just wanted to take a minute to say a BIG thank you to the ongoing support regarding this. As I have well and truly moved on and I have healed mentally - I feel like a better and stronger person now. What I went through really did change me in many ways. I had to learn to re-trust a man. which I did, I'm in the best relationship ever! I never thought id be able to have a normal relationship after what happened because I was so afraid this would happen to be again.
Im honestly so blessed to have thousands of beautiful, caring and kind fans from around the world still sending me supportive beautiful messages/comments. I wish I could personally sit here and thank every single one of you. Your support does not go unnoticed.

Same!!! She stood by him the entire time only to find out he's a complete douchebag. I could see bits of it, but then he would counter it and did maintain some control which confused me and threw me off. I did like on the show how he would defend her, it actually "looked" like he really loved her. Of course we are only seeing what is being aired. Behind closed doors is always where the real #$%^ happens. Ask me how I know.

Although Erin was way too insecure and mean to Millie, women’s intuition shouldn’t be messed with. If she asked him to stay away from her, he either should’ve said, “no,” or stayed away. He didn’t. He would calm Erin down through manipulative tactics and reassure her, then go back and do the same thing :) that’s a red flag for a cheater

When I saw the argument between Eden and Grant I knew that he is violent. I'm not surprised at all. You can do so much better. Just the best for you, dear Erin ✌️
mallory knox there was also one incident during the last few eps where Erin and Eden were arguing but you could see Eden was trying to manipulate the situation for public opinion. I think he was murmuring “not now”, as in not now since they were close to announcing a winner of Love Island. It’s hard not to believe Erin, when watching how intimidating Eden’s whole demeanour was towards his cast mates on the show -and he’s a prison guard!

Makes me angry to hear that the producers wanted to silence you too. You survived abuse and Eden is an abusive person. The producers tried to hide that and protect him. But i was generally commenting on how aggressive he was just by watching him on tv before any of this happened. I thought he was horrible when the show was airing when she was completely in love with him, so i’ve never liked him from the start. Her saying she was going to kill him obviously isn’t great, but if she was being abused like she said it was probably a defence mechanism. but like i said who knows how any of it actually went down. Everyone knows an “Erin”. It’s that girl that is really pretty on the outside but manipulative and evil on the inside. She 100% reflected those attributes throughout the show. Her and Eden were always starting trouble, Erin was always sticking her nose in everyone’s business and she had no problem being that sneaky couple, along with Eden. I always remember when Shelby started to like jaxon and the first thing Erin did was question her about jaxon’s height. This made Shelby feel that liking jaxon would be weird at that point because of his height. That was just one example of how cunning Erin was and showed her true colors. I obviously disagree with everything Eden did towards Erin that was violent but just don’t feel Erin is the perfect person she wants everyone to think she is.

Falling into the unhelpful behavior of shame and secrecy, thinking I did something wrong and deserved it and keeping it a secret... it took me 11.5 years to leave, but I did! Us Americans are just getting around to having watched L.I. Season 1 as it was just released on HULU in the U.S. Let me just say that I could see that this show initially brought out the best in Eden as he couldn't drink too much and had to behave because of being monitored 24/7. I'm guessing he was the best version of himself he has ever been and even though he played the alphamale of the Villa for the most part, he seemed measured and well-tempered. I will say that when he had the near fight with Grant later in the series, I really saw the bullying and true nature start to come out in Eden and I actually felt really bad for Grant as he is the one that walked away so it didn't escalate whilst Eden was taunting him with the group and pilling on. I thought to myself, "Oh man," this guy is not a nice man and is definitely hiding and holding back shit. Let me say this too. Erin you are adorable and he was smart to couple up with you and clearly you saw the really good side of him as everyone else did. But in any relationship, it takes a little while for the cracks to appear. So sorry that Eden wasn't able to allow that experience to change him for the better having such a sweet and beautiful partner by his side. As others have noted, clearly he has a serious drinking problem which only exacerbates his anger issues. Best of luck to you Erin.
Yes, I just watched season one and I agree with everything you said! Erin deserves somebody that makes her feel all the good things without any of the aggression, threats, cheating, or any of that crap. I’m so glad that she stayed safe.
Anyone else notice for Edens bday his love island boys (Dom & Josh) weren't there? Also on their instagram videos/photos you don't see them hanging out anymore since all this has come out! Also Josh and Eden both live in Sydney so you would think they hang out more, kind of makes what Erin says is true and his boys are no longer his mates as DOMESTIC VIOLENCE is not acceptable by any means!!! I just knew that move (under the pretence of joking around) was done maliciously. Let's just say Eden's not the type of man who would tolerate an effeminate man within his vicinity.

i'm so glad you were able to gain enough courage to leave him, i remember watching love island and supporting you through out the whole series since i liked your strong personality and the way you would stick up for yourself and your friends. It was really sad to watch each episode and to see the way Eden manipulated you into believing things and forgiving him, the way he acted was very similar to the way a high school bully would act, a lot of anger issues and having to feel the need to seem bigger than somebody else, pretty immature if you ask me. All the things he did were definitely warning signs, no "man" should ever feel the need to force a woman or try to intimidate a woman. I'm honestly so relieved you were able to leave before anything got worse, I will continue to support you Erin and I hope you will find someone better in the future :)

I was so sad when I saw that you two broke up but now I’m so proud of you. I cannot believe you had to endure that pain and horror. I cannot imagine what it’s like to be so terrified of someone to that extent. I’ve gone through abusive with a significant other and I was scared and had those moments of “oh my gosh this is the moment, he’s really going to hit me!” It’s one of the most horrible things ever.
