    This Takes me back to my high school day's i had a 1979 Honda XL 250 Loved that Bike...even took it on my Graduation Trip to Wilmington NC.
    Your Riding Skills are Perfect and Should inspire all of us to be a careful as you are. Thank's for the Reminiscent Memories that will Last 4-ever, this is The only Sport I've been fond of than any other. A Ride on my bike 20 minutes a few times a week is all of the therapy I will ever need...a few times a year, a Large Loop to & from The Blue Ridge Parkway. Sincerely, Charles B Elliott 'Baxter'

      @@edwards0matic Let me ask a question and a favor 1. Look at the vin on the steering colum throat, in front of the gas tank, you probably knew that. Is it a 1978 or 1979 mine was a 1979 same colors, I wasn't sure our colors were more than one year.
      2.When you're ready to trade or sell, I want first right of refusal...watching you on yours is theropy all by itself....
      Making me miss mile, Should have never sold it. But really when or if you're ready, im Definitely interested...Thank's D

      @@charlesbelliott7265 Ah I'm really sorry Charles, I sold the bike about a year ago now .. I actually made this little vid to help sell it. The bike was definitely a '78 though so yeah maybe the '79's had the same colour scheme.
      Are you in Ontario? I can point you in the direction of the fella I sold it to if you like?

    beautiful bike. The 1978 xl250 was my first street legal dirt bike and I love the sound of it 30 years ago. I've had an 84 and 87 xl250r since, but they don't sound the same. Something about the red color scheme on this one and the large front wheel was awesome. Mine originally bent a rod in the engine and that was the end of that bike as I could not locate a replacement motor then. that was 1994.

    • @edwards0matic
      @edwards0matic  ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely, the 250S has that classic feel / sound to it. The 250's after are more refined but not as fun to ride.

      Both great bikes I had an xl500 it lasted a month big ends went stripped and found someone had removed balancer shaft etc so was a bit of a time bomb lol !! Xl 250 I seized and got an rs 250 engine fitted top end of that ram for years as you say needs oil changes or cam will melt in runners for sure . Be great to see you’re xl 500 getting done on here soon I hope 👍 the xr 400 has been ultra reliable just the starting procedure but you have that sorted I see .
