Steamboat willie Redux 2013 [Full Animated Short] comparison (STABILIZED BETTER VERSION)

- A collaborative project made by different animators paying hommage to the famous 1928 Disney cartoon "Steamboat Willie". The short premiered at the D23 Expo on August 10, 2013. It was shown at the "Mickey: The True Original" Exhibition in New York.

I just love the whistle moment bit. The fact the team decided to make that part on traditional animation it's amazing. Legit looks like something that could came up just 10 years later than the actual short.

Guess they couldn’t add the part when he tortures the cat and piglets because of complaints it was too “Violent”
Good decision. Would definitely get backlash if you animate a popular (mainly loved by kids) cartoon character abusing animals.
