That would make no difference because the Steiners won the Tag Titles in WWE as well. If that was the case that Seiners were in WCW brand back in the day, then that is ridiculous. If they are going to have Bron win the title back, I would at least give Jey a bit of a run with it for a while before it goes back to Bron. Having Jey lose the title after a week to me is not smart in my opinion. At least have Jey keep the title for at least a month or close to a month before losing it.
