EPIC classic arcade game! This machine was state of the art back in 1983. The "Peter Gunn" soundtrack, large sprites, and that iconic flight yoke steering controller. People used to crowd around the cockpit version just to wait and watch 'till their turn. Thanks for sharing it with us my friend, Semper Fidelis and game on!
My all time favorite arcade game of all time. The BIG grey castle on State road 84 and 441 in Davie, Florida aka Grand Prix Race O Rama. Childhood memories of the 80’s real talk.
only he used the glitch that makes the limos and torpedo boats stop coming where you enter weapons van where the bridge is out and go over it on the side, there was no need to stop or go slow there
No lies. My highest score was over 3 million. I’ve had several over 1 & 2. The music get more intense as you continue to long for the computer to startup frustrations with you
Nice Vid! I had the opportunity to play the sit down recently on my way to Zapcon IV at Starfighters Arcade in Mesa, AZ. It's an experience! Nostalgia flooded me when I played. Got to the boat and then died. Not too shabby for 20 years!
Wow awesome having your own Spy Hunter arcade machine. I love this game I put lots and lots of 10 pence coins 🇬🇧 in this game as a child. Best 80s game ever 🙏🏻 I would my own Spy Hunter arcade machine.
the emulated version in Midway Arcade Origins (Xbox 360) has the road as black, meaning you can't really see when you're using oil slicks. this is the real deal!
Dude they had this arcade cabinet at a washing machine place and i was the best at this game, my highest score was around 15,500 and it was cause i spent hours playing and the owner of that game had so much fun watching me play, he let me play without quarters so i played endlessly, i was like 13 and now im 17, this guy is a god compared to my skills on Spy Hunter, rock on man!
Ugh Argh I never could stand bullet proof bully. I even thought up Craig Ferguson sobbing over, the enforcer showing up with a 12 gage shotgun. I can't even stand the mad bomber. Switch blade is a sinch to defeat.
very conservative use of OIL, rarely going slow racking up points that way, not using a few common tricks to avoid the water and winter road conditions - I think my score was close to yours, but I got to it in a different way
Wow. Learned a lot here. 1. I Had no idea I was shooting at innocent bystanders. (Bikes & others) Lol 2. Had never heard the full length of the soundtrack. Great Gaming.
I was going to applaud you for the great game that you did not exploit any glitches. But just playing the game how it was intended. .But then 23:30... My personal best was in the 200,000+ range...On midway classics collection (SpyHunter version for PS1)

Just hearing that classic Spy Hunter sound track brings back memories.

Excellent content. Brings back memories.
One of my favorite games growing up... Good work!
Bro....your the best I have seen at spyhunter.
Great playing through Spy Hunter. Flawless.

Steven Senlacere, still great to see Spyhunter being played flawlessly. That was one of my favorite games.
Incidentally I just hit my own all-time Spy Hunter high score today- 316,535 (upright cabinet version) Cheers!
I can only play the upright version. For some reason, my coordination is completely off in the sit-down cockpit version.
I used to play spy Hunter on the stand up at my local roller rink with skates on in the 80’s. Lol
I'd say you're probably the greatest Spy Hunter player ever...😎
I also really didn't think that: the 'Spy Hunter' video arcade game machine, also came in a cockpit model. I just guessed I overlooked.

THIS GAME IS GOLD
That electron beam is really scanning unabashedly.

The music is so nostalgic. Total epic play, never seen 1 life get so far…. Wasn’t there a glitch to get unlimited oil slick?
After it goes over 1 million the screen starts to dim a little. And these faded white flags begin to appear on the screen to distract a player

How did you drive on water when the bridge was out?
I never cared for Spy Hunter. But enjoy watching other people play it. Great skills
Dope Score. #NoDoubt
Awesome...at 7min 18 seconds you shoot and destroy a bullet proof guy Super Kool 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼✌🏼

ALOT BRAVER ON THE ICE THAN I AM
"Excellent game!"
the master in action...

Addicted to the bone!!!
My top score is 400,971
shame about the video quality. awesome playing though!
helicopter sounds pretty real, truck pick up reminds me of Knight Rider.
did you die on purpose at the end?
I’m jealous
