^This is a PDF Brochure on how to use MobiMover if you want to use a free program. Check with your attorney to be sure that they accept this format.
When going through a divorce or custody case, many clients often ask if their text messages can be used in court. The short answer is, yes. Therefore, clients need to be very careful about what they are discussing with specifically the opposing party in their case.
In this video, we discuss what things you should avoid talking about in text messages, What to include in your text messages as well as how to properly produce your text messages to your attorney, and the best methods to get your text messages to your attorney.
Divorce and custody cases are already messy, and the last thing you want is to make your case even messier by saying something you shouldn't have out of impulse.
If you are seeking a divorce, modification, or custody in the Houston area, please contact The Enos Law Firm at (281) 333-3030 to schedule a consultation.

I have a question. I am about to start a fight for Modification of my child custody agreement. My ex told my mother that his best friend Jay (who is married to my best friend and both men are using the same divorce attorney, my ex for our divorce and probably for the modification case too) has given him copies of text messages that are supposedly from me "proving" I am a drug addict. I have been on suboxone for over three years and have not used. Still, this worries me because of my past I don't want to lose time with kids. So my question is, in Georgia, can a suppose they would be called third party text messages be used against me. To be honest, anyone can fake text messages. I have a fake one of Tom Hiddleston and Ryan Reynolds arguing about who is going out with me tonight. My point is they are easy fake.

Are there any apps that all sms/mms/imessage are forwarded to that show the contacts name and number, send/receive timestamps, as well as logging the read receipt timestamps? The read receipt timestamp log is something Ive not been able to find but would be absolutely clutch in certain situations.

All screen shots are time stamped and can't be changed so I don't understand why you can't just print them out with the Metadata and time stamp in it that's 100 % from the phone and you nor the other party can change any of the information after that shot is taken

I was scared when somebody from the court texted me saying that I had Financial Problems but I am only a 11 year old. They said they would put me in jail if I didn’t attend Court. I am scared and I don’t know what to do. I said that I was just a 11 year old and that I don’t know about any of that. My mom told me to tell them that I am, and my uncle said that it was just a scam. I honestly don’t know and I’m genuinely scared...

These are scams. Don’t be scared. Any time you receive a text, phone call or voicemail from someone threatening to take you to jail if you don’t go to court, or if you refuse to hand over personal information, like your SSN, or if they want money as an exchange for “dropping” the charges, its fake.
If you’re ever charged with a crime or need to show up in court, you’d either be notified by letter through the mail from a creditable attorneys office, or someone (usually sheriffs office or private investigator) will hand deliver or “serve” you with a lawsuit personally. None of this stuff is done over telephone, so just keep that in mind next time you get one of these texts or calls. I would just block their number on my phone if it becomes repetitive.
