If you use the fist attack more esp against large dino weak spots you easily out DPS other suits. Charge it and release, easy 600 damage upwards to 1200 and it's not even a long cooldown. Some mods increase this damage too. I often get most damage done to large dino and have gotten 90k score MVP with deadeye variant, I don't even have the mods to increase damage yet. You just need to always be using deadeye's abilities ASAP when they're off cooldown, variant or not.
