Apparently Every assembly is different. This one has chosen to have a praise service at a brother’s funeral. I hope my children will not allow such a service at my passing. I want mine to be done Quietly and discreetly with the focus on the promises of God for the believer who have gone on to be with the lord. That is the most important thing. We as black people tend to be too loud … when we need to be reflective and quiet. Just saying.
