Is there a simple way to copy and paste a TH-cam video URL link into the folder I want to transcribe?
You need to upload the file there, so you need to download it from TH-cam first. Maybe there are some plugins for that to make it quicker - I don't know.
for me it takes extremely long i ran it and it took up to 7 minutes before i got my result. why is this?
No idea. Maybe the server was overloaded?
@@KamilsTechTips probably my internet was too slow, or my computer has too much space on it. you think that's what it is? also for the server being overloaded. the clip was like 10-15 seconds long so idk how it could be :shrug:
Hm... as long as you run it on the server, not locally, it should be ok. Once uploaded, it's there and then you start the process - your upload does not matter anymore.
If I used whisper from colab as you do in an api, would I have the problem that it is limited? because using, for example, unity whisper with the open ia extension, you have a limited use of when to use the tool
I would not know. I do not have enough experience with that.

I have material in m3u8 format. How can I make transcriptions? This guide doesn't work
Convert it first into a common format like mp3 or ACC.

I don't see how a poor connection has anything to do with converting a file to a different format. In any case, I can't say without first looking at your issue. @@lolek9988
