43:40 you can see how uncomfortable he is and how much hes fidgeting whenever they talk about summer camp... 45:53 just when he says this, this feels like an actual call for help, as this is what he is presumably constantly going through. "I didn't really like it, but I just pushed through... because my mom said keep going, and it'll be worth it in the end, and I got into the school I went for." I'm not seeing anyone talk about this part. 47:04 what she says here about rathering to not play if shes gonna lose, than actual enjoy and try the game herself, says alot about her personality and how she is about everything

I hope everything ends up okay for ryan soon.
I clicked on the 45:53 where he had to “push through “ since you made me curious but he wasn’t talking about TH-cam. He was talking about a personal goal he had to get into a school and his mom advised him to persevere. I feel like most parents advise you to keep pushing when it comes to school. I kinda wish the interviewer acknowledged Ryans’s personal achievement but he immediately brought it back to TH-cam. I don’t want the kid to constantly get the messaging that his only worth and greatest achievement is his TH-cam persona.

Most of it is about the finances of the channel/the business, bro prob doesn’t care or doesn’t even know about it so how would he have anything to say. He’s also still just a kid, and he’s never done a long form interview like this ofc hes gonna be nervous
You found the winning combination. Being a TH-camr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of Famester of course to help) will always pay off at the end. Good luck to everybody, I hope everyone is going to succeed one day.
the downside of this is that a majority of people don’t go for genuine down to earth content anymore, it’s all a battle for clicks and views. Seeing those numbers go up can seriously sever your motivation, especially for people who make art or animation. There’s nobody who wants to be human on what’s supposed to be a community run center for entertainment. It’s all slowly merging into the corporate scene, which is really unfortunate to me because many people find the genuinity of content to be inspiring
@@triple_check I mean you say that about the creators, but what does that say about the viewers? They're the ones making certain TH-camrs successful, so if anything, that says everything we need to know about what the average viewer is into: talentless and empty braindead content. @@amongusbqlls it definitely does say something about the viewers, but if that’s all the algorithm is going to shove in their faces then it shouldn’t be so normalized

Not always the case. Lots of youtubers are introverts and are comfortable taping in controlled environments--- one where they can easily edit out things they say. You can see lots of child stars who seem to be outgoing in movies but are actually not really talking much during live interviews.

Not sure why everyone expected Ryan to be talking a lot - he’s 12! If you actually listen to the episode, it’s about the business his parents set up when he was very young and not actually about him. I clicked on the 45:53 where he had to “push through “ since you made me curious but he wasn’t talking about TH-cam.

Parents are silencing him to hide everything and keep the business :(
yeah... i think ryan looks very sad from being drained of his childhood by his parents
I think he's just tired
Even the tone of his voice is very telling
Once he’s 18 he can decide things for himself. Wish you good Heath, mentally emotionally and spiritually Ryan . You got this!
Bro, I remember Ryan’s world WAYYY back then maybe 6 or 5 years, I still remember and it’s still in my heart
Ahem- Ryan's Toys Review
i wish you could have interviewed him without the parents
That’s a bit weird…he’s 12
Yeah, They talk too much, we can't hear what he thinks.
@@nathanespinoza890 The parents have been accused of taking advantage of him
@@nathanespinoza890no the parents are weird, this screams manipulative parents leeching off their rich child

bro, i actually feel so sorry for ryan
why dont his parents let him be normal, i mean, you can legitimately see tears forming in his eyes, he doesnt want this Mr and Mrs Kaji!!!
He feels great , ur just hoping he feels bad so tht u can feel gud abt urself. This bs is filled in half the comments of this vid , awww I feel sry for Ryan , what a sad life he's living with his 100 million dollars😞
@@DeltaD4hes a 12 y.o kid, literally entering his teens in 2 months 😭 let him do content for HIS age not for little kids
He’s probably so happy, he’s insanely rich
the dude literary works for 60 mins per week and has a normal life for the most part after that. get over yourself.
@@playz8538 with society nowadays, he most likely gets bullied for making content for 5 year olds. let bro retire like previous kid channels
My brother’s friend is Ryan’s neighbor and when he realized Ryan was his neighbor he talked to him. I came too because I knew who Ryan was and I asked him about his channel and he said he likes recording his videos with his family.
🧢🧢🧢
The biggest lie iv ever heard meet him again and record it
das cap, they live in private
They live out in the open in hawaii
I can tell u the address but u can’t tell anyone since Ryan might get mad
I'm taking a screenshot of all of the top comments because this kid is definitely going to be in a Netflix Documentary about how fame ruin a young person life soon.
I know right
His parents are hella milking him
"hella milking him" tells me everything lol
ryan barely records the videos anymore and i know when you were young you would have killed to do what ryan does
@@justanormaIdud3 I mean "milking him" is kinda true. They have earned so much money that is enough for generations so they don't really need to continue this anymore. I think they should just let Ryan live a normal child life. Him not experiencing social life and all the other things wouldn't do good
Let ryan go live his life broo i mean. They got enough money till the year 3000 maybe even more I’m glad my parents let me lived my life
The bit the dad said about him only filming for an hour a week and prioritizing his education and personal life indicates that hopefully that's not the case
Obviously you think a 4 year old could hold up a TH-cam channel
I feel like they aren’t even his actual parents I honestly feel so sorry for that child

i feel like you should mind your own business because saying that in the comments and people agreeing with you is actually so weird

@@justanormaIdud3 bro your in like every comment section, its seriously not that deep bro
Not sure why everyone expected Ryan to be talking a lot - he’s 12! If you actually listen to the episode, it’s about the business his parents set up when he was very young and not actually about him. Ryan spends an hour or two weekly at most on the channels that are part of the business, with his parents saying that they prioritize his education. Plus his parents have created a financial and business structure so that Ryan can pursue his own interests when the time is right. Great episode as usual Jon!
Exactly!
they look like they’re under pressure. especially ryan, it looks like before the interview he was told “keep quiet, don’t tell them too much, don’t talk unless talked too.” poor kids. can’t wait till the real interview comes out in 10 years
I wanna see HIM be interviewed… once he turns 18 I hope he’s honest about his life
This boy is almost grown now! 😂
I remember when he first came out!!
I thought he was 7 still. Time flys
My son was a fan from the start and see Ryan grow fast is jus crazy😳happy for this family
Every time Ryan speaks, his parents looks so nervous
I get nervous when my kids speak too because they always say some crazy random things that make them seem silly nobody needs to hear 😂
@@YUMMAEH1show your kids this comment and see how they react
@@YUMMAEH1well thats understandable, but ryans parents is another story
They are looking at him like say what we just told you to say. Every time he talks it’s a deep cut you can tell they prepare his answer every time.
@@Jorda5s just like when the parents were asked about what happens when Ryan doesn’t wanna do this anymore. You can genuinely tell that’s not an option for the kid. Talk about all that money, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a power of attorney over him.
People complaining Jon interviewed his parents dont understand his parent are the mastermind behind it. They do and run everything since start. Ryan was the face. Without parents Ryan is nothing. And without Ryan same his parnet wouldnt be bilionaires. 4 years old cant make videos and post it on his own. His parents did
yes but ryan was the important one cause it was HIS channel the parents did help but it wasn’t all the parents they have agents, managers and other people helping him get these gigs, videos and etc. the dad said it in the beginning but i think the kid deserves better you can tell that he talks like slow and careful cause he doesn’t give direct answer the interviewer says cause his parents probably told him to don’t say anything about what’s going on behind the scenes
Yeah, I don't get the hate. Ryan can't answer most of the questions Jon is asking.
@@chickyfelix They didn't help. They are 99% of the business who raised Ryan to become the face of their business. Don't be delulu
I feel so bad for Ryan. I only just recently realized that Ryan (2011) is only a year or so younger than me . I can't even imagine what his life is like.
And he now doesn't get to records his own videos 😢😢😢
Feel bad... lol
Same but then i realize he's a year younger than me and making bank 😭
Is honestly sad seeing his younger self, Whenever I see him when he was just a baby, it breaks my heart because it reminds me of my baby brother and up till now he's still making videos. I hope future him can come again for another interview
I think Ryan doesn’t know what he should do in his life. He’s been making content on YT since he was so young that this has became his lifestyle. And not sure about his parents but I think they don’t dislike making so much money, that they hope they could continue this as long as they could. I wouldn’t say they don’t care about Ryan, but rather they got used to doing this YT thing.
How many 12. year olds know what to do in life? When I was 12, the entire focus of my day was going to the grocery store, shoplifting a Penthouse magazine, then going home and trying to figure out where I could hide it where my mom wouldn't find it...
