The mighty Murray is doing it's thing again, the photo's & footage are amazing. I'm in Qld & too far away to come & have a look at things. Thank you 😀

We were taking pictures from Wellington to Mannum yesterday as well. Our last visit was 26/11/22. My husband helped a guy fill sandbags at Caloote during this visit. Yesterday we looked at his home and the water was up to his front fence. I enjoyed your video, we forgot to take our drone with us.

You would of seen a big difference since November! We’ve helped were we can, but we have gone back only to see the water above the sandbags. We will do our part during cleanup.
Thank you for watching, and leave the drone in the car never know when you need it 😁

Well done guys I have a shack just down river from white sands and have water all round us so it's good to see what is going on with floods.keep up the good work.

Thanks for keeping us updated with your clips, you're doing an amazing job. If you're around Mannum again could you please take some footage of Cowirra as we have a shack in there and would like to see how it looks. Thanks again 🙂

You’re welcome and thanks 😊 definitely can and will do, I’m heading to Mannum again on Friday, I’m hoping it’s near its peak by then and starts going down
      Cheers

Thank you for your video, it certainly gives a good view of what is happening in the area. I am praying that it soon starts to go down as I have been watching Mildura & once the water peaks it seems to start going down quite quickly. Sadly there are more downs downstream still waiting for that day.

You’re welcome and thanks for watching. It sure does, I’ve been watching that too but there is a bit more coming down from the Darling river.

Happy New Year 2023 and good luck to all you Ozzie Battlers whilst the floods disrupt the Murry Floodplains. I know there area well enough from many a camping holiday at Mannum, Murry Bridge and the Estuary. Our family used to operate a paddle steamer or two in the 1850's. At least the aquifers will fill and the whole valley will turn green again.

Thank you for this, its wonderful and sad at the same time to see what is happening. we cant control the river, or the weather and its natural cycles that lead to events like this. the only other time I've seen the river get anywhere near this high was back in the flood of 1974, when I was only 12. it will be interesting to see how high the peak will actually be. I feel for those who's house's, shack's and businesses that have flooded and hope they can get back to normal again as quickly as possible one the water drops back down.

You’re welcome ☺️ it definitely is, nature doing what it does! We just have to manage around it. I was born in 74 and have only seen the 92/93 rise in the Murray and that was nothing in comparison with now.
      Thank you for watching

With the reality of global climate changes and more exceptional floods, then maybe people should relocate their communities onto the higher bank cliff of the entirety of the affected areas.
