As a Freo supporter, it's going to be an intriguing 2025. IMHO over the past few seasons Freo's recruiting team have done a reasonable job and assembled a competitive squad. Our mid-field has depth, there's competition for spots, the backline is solid, there's another year of development into Amiss and Tracey and with the addition of Bolton and a 2025 fixture list that has us travelling slight less compared to previous seasons this will hopefully all add up to improved scores.
As a Freo supporter, I'm confident hopefully that Sean Darcy's injuries will be behind him this season, and the Jackson-Darcy tag team combination will finally take off. The Freo forward line will be firing. Then you got Nat Fyfe, he may not be the Brownlow Medal winning machine that he was all those years ago, but he still adds a lot of experience to the Freo midfield, 2025 will decide Fyfe's future, and if its game over, then he still walks away very accomplished. All I'm hoping for is that Fremantle have consistent performances and enough wins on the board to play finals, a heavy scoring percentage and a healthy list, the three things that derailed Freo's season in 2024.
As a Melbourne supporter I have some biases towards Jacksons departure from us, but I still firmly believe that he should have stayed and learnt more from max, I mean he had one of if not the best ruck man of all time guiding him from the start and gave it away because he wanted to return home. I just don't think he'll ever learn nearly as much from Darcy as he could of from max.
@@baileykruger6958 I agree, nobody would like to be in the shadow of the greats but you'll learn more from them (gawn) than you would some unsuccessful ruck man who has only played a handful of games in the past 4 years.
Intrigued why the Dockers told Jackson to put on more weight? His speed and agility for a big man is elite. Increasing weight means lower speed and a higher risk of injury in my view, so what do they hope to gain?
@@freobetter I mean he isnt wrong, Jackson is doing better with their midfield atm. Darcy cant keep more than a couple games together, they can get heaps for him and get a heap of salary cap space free
@ but freo are one of the best teams in the league when both are playing. jackson is our best forward player at creating contested balls. we were reliant on jackson to bring the ball to ground last year. don’t get me wrong, treacy and amiss are fantastic contested marks, but they struggle to bring the ball to ground. jackson doesn’t. plus darcy has one of the highest hit out rates, and hit out to advantage percentages. we have a premiership contending team if darcy can stay healthy, despite what victorian media, kane cornes, or this twat says.
"father time is undefeated" ..got my number too

Darcy needs to drop 5-10 kgs

Jackson Doenst need Gawn
@@leftfield5914 My point still stands, he would of learnt more from 7x AA ruck man than the still underachieved ruck man that is Sean Darcy.
Darcy back in the anti gravity hyperbolic time chamber for another year

As a long time Freo member, Fyfe is finished.
I think he'll play a professional sub role next year
Darcy looks a lot fitter atm
Darcy looks like he's lost about 10kgs, unrecognisable
I really hope Fremantle find some success
😂 love the mic is it about the bomber?
Jackson doesn't have two brain cells to rub together, which will hold him back. Just a good athlete.
Jackson might not be a FWD, but he IS NOT a 1st ruck yet.
Kane cornes mentioned the game has moved past nat fyfe.
Kane loves the sound of his own voice
Years ago …
BRUHHHH get Liam Reid back onnnn
Jackson is not a forward and never will be a good forward. He is best in the ruck. Freo should have traded Darcy last year bloody rookie mistake
this is such a bad take lol

The captain has a nose ring. How very cringe … 🤡
What a pointless comment.
