I was searching a long time for a solution to extend the touch range with a cable, your idea combined with a 47 pF capacitor between the S-point connection to reduce the sensability was the solution, thanks for your post !
hey guys, I just found an easier to do this. my dad is an electronics technician so when I ask him to solder the wire for me, he asked me to get the multimeter and he checked whether the leg of the component is connected to the soldering pad to the right of the leg. Turns out it is connected to that. Long story short instead of soldering the wire to the leg of the component which will be challenging to do, you can just solder the wire on the soldering pad or whatever it is called that is next to the leg. I notice there a top and bottom part of the pad, my one is connected to the bottom.
Hey thank you buddy. This hexagon table is definitely the trend of the moment and everybody want to understand how to do it..!!! Now how to make the fading effect when led goes off??
can you please confirm this, The TTP223 capacitive touch sensor does it have built-in timeout mechanism? the reason i am asking is i am trying to use the TTP223 in a way when i touched and keep touching it i want the LED stay ON while my hand touching it and when i release i want the LED to be OFF. i have tried it but after like 7 seconds the LED goes OFF even i am still touching the sensor. Can you help with that?
You can use it in 3 ways. 1st As touch sensor 2nd as switch when u touch light goes on and stays until you touch again then it goes off. And 3rd is when u touch and keep your finger on sensor it will work but when u remove it goes off
how? the 3rd is not true on my trial, i have tried many times, when i keep my finger on sensor it will work for 8 seconds exact then it will goes off. i want to work as the 3rd point you have mentioned but it is not @@woodworking990
Thanks! Really helped me out!

Wait can you elaborate on this?
Thanks for sharing, you're so kind!
Thank for the information ❤
Brooooo.... I love you .... Thank you for sharing your knowledge ❤
You welcome
Thanks man
I really appreciate
Excellent! Thanks!
Bro can you please explain by connecting it live with the led and extending the capactive range ❤
Nice one mate 😉

Now u can buy complete sensors no need to do any modification. And have dimmable function
thnx man
Thank you!
Yiu welcome Today later I will do video where I'm.teying to make dimmable effect on my table
I would love to see that! I'm working on an LED lamp right now, I'll update and tag you if this works 👾
Hello from Bengaluru, India fellow tinkerer!
How long could be that cable used as antena? And i could atach that antena in some metal object to transform the entire object in a switch?
Hey thank you buddy.

That's what I want to do. To show everyone. Is nothing to hide.
RC circuit; delay discharge to LED
Can you use capacitor ? To try to discharge slowly.
@@gauravmathur4940 that's what i will do
how to increase the output voltage? so that the LED can be brighter
You cant on these sensors
Hi, what LCD strip are you using and how do you turn it on and off with the sensor?
I'm using 5v led strip from usb. It's all connected to 1 power source. Once you touch se sor it turns on

how long can I extend the range using wires?. nice vid
If longer cable then longer range I believe. However on there is another option where u need some transistor I think
Hello from Germany, I have made all like you with the ttp223, my problem is that I have not the full power light on the led's, what can I do. Greets
What voltage leds u have? Ttp223 sensors are reducing coltage
@@woodworking990 I have ws2812b 5volt 18 pieces(leds) in 1 strip, I become only 4volt on the in/out connector on the ttp223
You did not show how you placed the antenna in the wood. Why don’t you show it? How are we supposed to see anything if you only lift it one cm?
Now u can buy sensors which no need modifications and have dimable funcion
I tried but nothing happened
Maybe u did something wrong?
Where can I buy this piece ttb please
Ebay or amazon just type in ttp223
@@woodworking990 thank you very much
Hello my friend, can you please help me on how to install 50 peace ttp 223 the schema plz
