To me, Michael Flatley was more 'Look at me!', while Colin Dunne (and the other lead male dancers) are more like 'Look at us!'. RIVERDANCE is about the music, the voices, the performances, and the talent, not individual egos. Don't get me wrong; Flatley had talent without a doubt, but it was his attitude towards others that was the difference. BRAVO!
Got Star-struck and left Riverdance. Created a couple of his shows. None of them were as successful culturally as Riverdance but still they were successful financially . Tbh, Celtic Tiger, his last show, was outright vulgar and revolting.
For some strange reason, the steps sounded out of synch with the music. And without the reverb of a concert hall acoustics, all that stomping seems to lose its (pardon the pun) impact!🙄
Colin and Jean are still by far my favorite Riverdance lead dancers!
The Beautiful and Talented Jean Butler = WOW !
"All is for love and all is forever"! Jean and Colin 👍👍👍👍👍
Colin Dunne the best forever.
Kinsale?? I got to visit Kinsale when I went to Ireland! Colin and Jean are the greatest EVER!!
PERFECTION

What's the story with Mitchell flatley

That dancing surface looks awful, like a stretched out tarp.

Colin Dunne is ok but Michael had flair and style that Colin didn't have. Michael Flatley is still the best.
