I just had a similar problem. Did a top end rebuild to a 172cc. Thought I had fueling or leaks but turned out I had a bad coil. It would run fine at idle and spit and sputter like a fuel problem when running.
@@scooterbomb2152 mvt ign happens to be the only inner rotor ignition that has charging 😊 battery and lights will work as factory You can even wire a plug on so it plugs directly into the factory plug No cut wires or splices
I wish someone would develop an air/fuel ratiometer for a 2-stroke. Would make life so much easier or even better, a bolt-on fuel injection. I would even take a small diameter smart carb/lectron that would save the hazzle for changing the jets and needle clip and adjusting air mixture screw but. Smartcarb did say something about developing a model in the 20mm range but guess they have buried that idea. And on the scooters one can easily diagnose wrong roller weights for a carb issue just like I did recently. Had too heavy weights and it felt lean coz of that. BTW the audio is a bit off. Dampens after a while. Great videos tho. Keep em coming!
@@EinarLerschen cheers dude. I’m starting to think the rollers and that dead clutch are part of the issue. Got the remote mic half way through this vid so it messed the audio. Next one will have the mic the whole way through so should sound much better.

Hello! I have a 27v too, but im looking for some help with it. My factory carb from 83' died a couple of weeks ago, carb body was worn away under the float needle so it was beyond repair. So i got the bright idea to buy an expensive flat slide 21mm power jet PWK carb for it ya know for some power, but it didn't fit. The carb neck outer diameter is 35mm while the intake inner diameter is only 22 mm or so. I see people running 21mm dell ortos on these but noone seems to answer how on earth they put a carb on the small intake
@@istvanilosvai2962 not sure how to do it on the PWK but I know the polini fits the stock intake and I’m sure the dellorto will fit the same. The PWK is a huge carb and I’m guessing the only way would be a different intake like the one I use in this bike. Anything Prebug Zuma or CW50 will fit 👍
@@scooterbomb2152 is there any intake you know of that would fit a 21 pwk? One with a 35mm or 33mm diameter? I searched everywhere but couldn't find one. Basically just thinking about asking a company to manufacture me one now as the bike has almost been sitting for a month now
@@istvanilosvai2962 Yup they are the same. The cylinder I used came straight off a prebug. This one fits scooterswapshop.com/products/mxs-racing-intake-for-prebug-zuma
