People who only followed Blink the whole time didn't really get to see it, but I saw Tom with Angels & Airwaves several times over the years, and got to meet him in '06. He started to write music that matched his voice better, and now with the new Blink album, it matches that style. We just saw them at the Gorge in WA and it's obvious that the older songs are harder for him to hit now, but the newer ones sound awesome.

The phones definitely take away from living in the moment. I’m so thankful that I was able to see Blink in 2001 &2003 before smart phones came about. The experience is different.
