What's worse is that the writers turned Elena getting her memories back into a metaphor about sexual consent but missed the mark because she couldn't give informed consent with her memories gone.

She was allergic to the sun and couldnt be out for long periods of time. So when I finally met her it was love at first sight. We cried because for that one moment, we felt a love so powerful that it made the world standstill. Though we broke up because of my emotional instability and freakouts I'll never forget clarrissa gonzalez. 😔😭
