What a fascinating, and immaculately kept, machine. It's really sad to see it head off into retirement, but as you look at the complex, rube-goldberg-esque, mechanics of this lift, compare to the modern 10 passenger lift right next door, and how much simpler mechanically it is. Time, unfortunately, does march on.
