The question is: How often do you need to unbolt just these screws or nuts? In a professional shop okay, a tool just for that with more punch would be suitable, but for the guy at home doing occasional work, the 700 should be enough. The few times you'd need to loosen these connections, you can use the good old breaker bar, before lifting the car up. Had to do that some time ago for my dad's VW bus, not a big deal. The 700 is a chunky boy already, but the 1001/1002 is a good bit bigger. To wield both of them as a regular impact? Way too heavy and not needed. 300 and below for regular work. I have the 700 just to loosen lug nuts (doing winter/sommer wheel change for my whole family inventory), as my 285 often is too weak for that. But for (careful!) pre-fastening them the 700 is too strong, the first stage of the 285 is ideal for that.
Hubs you will not even remove with the DTW1000, I use my 230V Makita TW1000 1200W - 1000Nm which I also use for lorry wheel nuts, they , well mostly, come off without using a blow torch first 😃🔥
Depends on what you have to open got a dtw 300z for wheel rims that were way too tightened in tire shop with impact gun ,fools and I’ll be telling them 300 not a hope I forget about the dtw 700;but I did get a dtw 1002z it’s a monster no other words the 300 is 580 breaking nut power on high the 1002z has 3 speed box 500 1000 and 1600 it took the nut of in the lowest setting but the anvil blows are much stronger and beefier it’s a big great monster with mass power, got the dtw 700 as well 1000 nm breaking power and smaller than the 10002 monster ,so strongly depends what u want to open
@@mandar5005 thedtw700 has 1000 nm breaking power and is a good bit smaller than the 1002 it’s all down to what nut your trying to open and a underpowered impact is useless the 700 should do the job
@@tim62744 Very important question, whether with DTW700 we can safely work with nuts like 8-10mm on the lowest speed? Because it's already clear, that such bolts can be just broken apart on maximum torque. Does the lowest speed resolve the issue?

Try tightening then switch back to reverse to loosen and so on to remove stubborn fasteners.

I bought DTW 700 for dismantling cars, and DTW 1000 is heavy and large, it will not work for me

1000 Nm loosening-torgue-moment and its not able to loosen a driveshaft center bolt/nut? This thing is useless.
