Nothing like a rejuvenating vista to clear the mind, body, and soul, especially when you’re sharing the experience with someone you love. Nothing like a rejuvenating vista to clear the mind, body, and soul, especially when you’re sharing the experience with someone you love. Maybe, it’s the romantic in me, but everything seems brighter, more enjoyable, lighter on the heart, too. There is something so welcoming about the peace it brings, like the breath of fresh air, the vibrancy of the leaves, even the birds singing their own little tune. It’s like a paradise away from the noise, the static noise of defiled energy. You know what, Asher, I’m very fond of your idea of perfect. One’s perception of perfection differs from person to person, I’m still learning, but I can definitely resonate with this vision.
I believe, we can only do what feels right at the moment, even when we might do too much, or feel like we’re not doing enough. For a long time now, even as a work in progress, I try my best to feel content at the end of the day with my decisions, lay them to rest. (I wish I can say I always succeed but ya know, I’m human.) Memento mori, our mortality, can feel limiting at times, but coming to terms with the concept of doing what you can in the moment, in the present, is comforting to me. At times, doing your best is sitting back and watching your favorite show, playing a game, taking a day off. But, knowing that in your heart of hearts, you did your best with the best of intentions, really puts things into perspective for the days to come. “Time spent at rest isn’t automatically time wasted.” I very much agree with this, too. And yeah, the moments we spend with those we care for really are the most important, the highlight reel, I feel. For me, it keeps me going, keeps me striving for the future, knowing I can have another beautiful moment that will make my heart sing. We deserve to feel good, embrace those moments that make us smile, feel so present, every weight on our shoulders disappears, even if only for that moment. It is worth it.
Don’t threaten me with a good time, Asher. You, glitter, and a haunted house, sounds like a party. I jest but that is a very true statement about glitter overall. Damn, you shifted gears as quickly as I’m about to switch languages. I’m here smiling at the wholesome, melting at the sweetness, and now I’m just, well, melting, for lack of better terminology. Hmm, your neck definitely feels like a sensitive spot, I couldn’t help myself. Indeed, cause and effect, especially when the senses are heightened create, dare I say, the perfect equilibrium.
I laughed so much at the car horn, catching me off guard, but felt so real. All the carefully placed sound effects going so well with the voice acting, it was great. This audio was so sweet and fun, also a great reminder for myself to appreciate certain moments in life. It was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions for me.
