I was always shown to do a throw on D as dropping to low G from whatever note you’re on, then essentially playing a D gracenote, then open up C then D, as if running up to D....its flows more naturally (more of a ‘throw’ than a doubling/strike movement) ..... but that’s some 20+ years I’ve been playing it like that so I’m kinda stuck in that movement 😂
***** The software looks like "BagPipe", a French-made software (I use it too along with some others). And usually a triplet is played evenly (each eighth note has 1/3 of a beat), but in this tune it sounds like 2 sixteenths plus 1 eighth (this is usually the case in strathspeys).
Thanks a lot once more !....you may not imagine as you're helping me to recover and remember the bagpipe playing....
This is my first bag pipes lesson today so I am really excited
Plz do O Flower of Scotland as a tutorial!
Like if you agree!! ^_^

Please send me bagpipe music sheet of Highland cathedral and Loch leven castel
Normally for a triplet, the number 3 should appear above or below it, so why is it not on this one?

There is a mistake on the sheet music, in the first bar of the second harmony, there is a High G gracenote on a High G.
this is a pretty easy tune we use more embellishments
