Yeah. There was a prominent antizionist, Marek Edelman. He was born and raised before the Holocaust, belogning to the Bund throughout his youth, and after the Holocaust he became a humanist instead, but did not forget his socialist roots. He stayed critical of Zionism throughout his whole life, because he believed in fighting against antisemitism rather than running away from it. And I saw a comment online saying that his antizionism is just "him not knowing what he's saying due to old age". That's quite disrespectful, considering that he followed Bundist ideals since the very beginning of his life 😬
We now live in an era that almost nobody (except Jews) knows what Zionism actually is, except for what Arab propaganda portrays it to be. Thus, anti-Zionist, mostly, means nothing at all. It really means anti-Israeli.
Of course they will and rightly so. Because being anti Zionist is being against the will of the Jewish people to have a sovereign homeland on their ancestral lands. And no one denies this same right to any other people. Denying jews same rights is called anti semitism.

Nah it has aged quite well, Israel is still a majority import economy, that is why it spends so much money to influence American opinion/lobbying about its nation. If it were to become a pariah that entire country would collapse. They do not have the resources to actually fulfill their main mission as being the homeland for all 15.7 million Jewish people globally. They do not even have enough resources for the 9 million Israeli citizens (whose Jewish population is only 7 million). This is why Israel is so focused on territorial expansion into the West Bank, The Golan Heights, Lebanon, the Sinai Peninsula, etc. They want to quote from Genesis that the lands between the Nile and the Euphrates are theirs, but more importantly claim important lands and water ways to ensure the population's survival. Israel with its current borders cannot be self sufficient, no matter how many people they put in the kibutzim, it is inherently impossible and they know this. I understand you were referring to the Holocaust and the subsequent famines to happen in the USSR later, however I would argue that the present day Jewish German and Russian have better food security than the present day Israeli.
It's mostly for soviet jews, who were the ones who survived the holocaust the most in europe, though not without losses, even though later stalin planned to kill us all, luckily he pissed himself and died, today soviet jews are very zionist and basically replaced most of the jews of europe, except the french ashkenazi jews, they were replaced by algerian jews
Not at all. The British didn't want Jews to become a majority in Mandate Palestine, so they set quotas. Zionists, Bundists, they died together, barred from immigration to safety by xenophobic authorities.
This is like sane Christians calling out evangelists. But this song is basically saying "we don't need to live in a homeland to be happy and proud. We just want to be accepted everywhere"
Zionism isn't opposed to equality of Jews abroad rather the opposite the idea was that Jews needed to get equality as a nation among nations in order to be equal within other nations
@@israelilocal The assumption that Jews could not be accepted as Europeans in Europe is in itself problematic. It's essentially a surrender to the same nationalistic impulses that promoted modern antisemitism among other nationalities.
@@CeoLogJM Considering that your "solution" is to propagate the very same problems of nationalism for which Zionism was a response, that's hardly a solution. The rabid antisemitism of Tsarist Russia and Nazi Germany lead straight back to nationalism, a toxic road that led many peoples like themselves astray to endeavors of folly.
A huge amount to think about there. The Spielberg film Munich put one interpretation on historical and recent events: tit for tat violence and expropriation is initially a strong and gratifying urge but eventually corrupts and leads in turn to those retaliating being eliminated or expropriated. If God had any sense he' d tell people to stop claiming to speak for him and speak for Himself for once. What a bloody mess, literally, over the centuries.

He did speak, the last time He spoke was 33 A.D. Unfortunately, people are trained to view Christianity as merely a religion crazy people believe in. Isaac Deutscher: "Israelis who have known me as an anti-Zionist of long standing were curious to hear what I was thinking about Zionism now. I have, of course, long since abandoned my anti-Zionism, which was based on a confidence in the European labour movement, or, more broadly, a confidence in European society and civilisation which that society and civilisation have not justified. If, instead of arguing against Zionism in the 1920s and 1930s, I had urged European Jews to go to Palestine, I might have helped to save some of the lives that were to be extinguished in Hitler’s gas chambers. For the remnants of European Jewry (is it only for them?) the Jewish state has become an historic necessity. It is also a living reality"
Marek Edelman, the only surviving leader of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising: "The Bundists did not wait for the Messiah, nor did they plan to leave for Palestine. They believed that Poland was their country, and they fought for a just, socialist Poland in which each nationality would have its own cultural autonomy, and in which minorities' rights would be guaranteed."
Zionism was an idea largely supported by European antisemites who wanted an excuse to deport all Jewish people from their states. I also can't help but notice that antisemitism hasn't been reduced by the existence of a genocidal settler colony functionally vassalised to the US in the middle east. As an Englishman I deeply apologize for the false promises my government made to everyone involved. However that doesnt make the continued existence of said settler colony ethno state justifiable. The Jewish anti-zionists who first made this song were valiant, brave and in my opinion they were right about the need to fight for liberation where they were.
My uncles grandmother was part of the bund she was against zionism... she ended up in Jasenovac... where were the communists then... Run to Jerusalem then get ready to run to the hills in the days of the Acharit Hayamim. Fear not though, for if you heed Christ, all those who survive the onslaught by fleeing to the mountains like Yeshua said will be called blessed. Those living there have been baited into coming to their own doom and gloom for their continued blasphemy’s by rejecting the Son of Adonai. Only those who believe in the Messiah should have the right to live there, and clearly the Father agrees, for one day they will be the only Israelis left. It’s a hard truth, hard because I really do love Israel, and their rejection of Messiah I can accept, yet Adonai will not.
No offense but when you say you can make reality conform to your desires simply by willing a nation into existence in the context of building a genocidal ethnostate. You kind of sound like a nazi, I.e "The Triumph of the Will" and frankly that's kind of off putting.
As a Zionist, i like the beat of the song, while i disapprove the message, i love the song. The song was made in 1931, and it was made to moke the Zionists, as they said they would fail, as Religious Jews believed that their should be no Jewish nation until the Messiah returns, and whoever does, they believe its against Gods will. And they believed God would not let Zionism succeed. Hence they were against Zionism. But now, Zionism succeeded and now they living in Diaspora made a huge toll in their population in a bad way.
Your nation and honour is genocide of other people? That's What a jew is according to you? Communists will always support honour and dignity of Palestinians!
@@drakmatheism It's not really surprising? Zionism goes against a core belief in Judaism where Jews can only return to the Holy Land if the Moshiach (messiah) returns
Oh sure, because what we really need is *another* imperial claim to Palestine, right? The Ottoman Empire had its run for a few hundred years, but let's not forget-they weren’t exactly liberators. They ruled Palestine as part of their empire, just like any colonial power. Funny how when it's convenient, people suddenly get nostalgic for empires that exploited the land and its people. Palestine doesn't need new overlords; it needs self-determination. Whether it's Ottoman, British, or Zionist colonisation, it's all the same story: people profiting off the land while Palestinians get displaced. Let's not pretend Turkey has a claim any more than anyone else who showed up with guns and flags.
@@ChemariusLorthis Oh, of course-**"Roman land,"** right? Because nothing says justice like reviving ancient claims to justify modern imperialism. The Romans had their empire, just like the Ottomans, the British, and the Zionists. So now we're supposed to hand it over to San Marino? It's almost like people forget that Palestine's issue isn't about ancient history but the ongoing struggle for self-determination and justice in the here and now. Maybe we should focus on ending oppression instead of dreaming up new empires.

You're right: Instead of those who moved there starving, it was the people who already lived there. Just like in India.
why does this hit so hard?
The song has the map of israel, but the anti-zionists have no homeland
In the USA and in Russia still remain jewish colonies. How haven't they any home land?
@@harleyking88 Then the economy falls a little and they're on our throats again
@@maavet2351 you will never enjoy peace , you'll always live in fear , is it worth it ?

@@jamestoney24 as a Ukrainian I'd have an intercourse with Donkey Kong to end up living in a country like Israel given those conditions
Sadly, most of those who followed this song’s advice were murdered in 1939-1945. Those who didn’t, mostly survived. Otherwise the song would be okay.
That's how Zionism proved itself to be the only salvation for the Jews.
Yes: the hegemony of Zionism among the world's Jews today is very much a result of the Holocaust.
Fucking Stalin
Not at all. The British didn't want Jews to become a majority in Mandate Palestine, so they set quotas. Zionists, Bundists, they died together, barred from immigration to safety by xenophobic authorities.
Stay in the the diaspora and help us fight for our common liberation.
That’s so stupid
Based yiddish 🕎🗿
This is like sane Christians calling out evangelists.
But this song is basically saying "we don't need to live in a homeland to be happy and proud. We just want to be accepted everywhere"
Zionism isn't opposed to equality of Jews abroad rather the opposite the idea was that Jews needed to get equality as a nation among nations in order to be equal within other nations
@@israelilocal The assumption that Jews could not be accepted as Europeans in Europe is in itself problematic. It's essentially a surrender to the same nationalistic impulses that promoted modern antisemitism among other nationalities.
@@revanofkorriban1505 oh, so it makes sense why western anti Semites are the biggest ally of israel
@@revanofkorriban1505 it's problematic for you, because you don't like the solution, and prefer the problem
Its almost like the God wants the chaos. Maybe the abrahamic god is the god of chaos.
@@ashwinrawat9622 Yes, destructive rather than constructive ambiguity. C of E apologists who were placed before me as a British school.pupil explained God's non intervention against evil as due to giving us a chance to do good. It's about time he crunched the data and concluded the experiment is not working.
Yeah, but you cannot sum up Zionism into tit and tat. Zionism, in its core is the return of the Jewish people to their Homeland And that has shown to be a proper path for the jews.
He did speak, the last time He spoke was 33 A.D. Unfortunately, people are trained to view Christianity as merely a religion crazy people believe in.
Jesus never preaches any of these atrocities, and Hitler was no Christian, he himself wished if Germans were religious that they would be Muslim since it fits better with his vision of war-like strong German Aryans.
@@BLOLiteHe concluded the experiment was not working millions of years ago. He knew all of this would come to pass and He had mercy upon us anyways. He should really crush all of us, since we’ve been nothing but evil to Him and others, but He doesn’t. Instead He tells us that He will fix us, and He did step one of that when Jesus died and rose again 3 days later, allowing man to be saved through ransoming our sins unto Him. When Jesus comes again (I don’t know when, it could be tomorrow, it could be 10,000 years later) He’ll make us perfect again.

I think a lot of African Americans and other American Racial Minorities have come up with a good word for Bourgeoise Zionists: Uncle Toms!
Isaac Deutscher:
"Israelis who have known me as an anti-Zionist of long standing were curious to hear what I was thinking about Zionism now.
Marek Edelman, the only surviving leader of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising:
"The Bundists did not wait for the Messiah, nor did they plan to leave for Palestine. They believed that Poland was their country, and they fought for a just, socialist Poland in which each nationality would have its own cultural autonomy, and in which minorities' rights would be guaranteed."

The ones who left Europe on time were not stupid, quite the contrary
Zionism was an idea largely supported by European antisemites who wanted an excuse to deport all Jewish people from their states. I also can't help but notice that antisemitism hasn't been reduced by the existence of a genocidal settler colony functionally vassalised to the US in the middle east. As an Englishman I deeply apologize for the false promises my government made to everyone involved. However that doesnt make the continued existence of said settler colony ethno state justifiable. The Jewish anti-zionists who first made this song were valiant, brave and in my opinion they were right about the need to fight for liberation where they were.

And they believed God would not let Zionism succeed. Hence they were against Zionism. But now, Zionism succeeded and now they living in Diaspora made a huge toll in their population in a bad way.

The Romans had their empire, just like the Ottomans, the British, and the Zionists. So now we're supposed to hand it over to San Marino?
