There are various types of lehenga styles like A-line, Flared , Double-flared' Mermaid, Paneled, and so on. Also various techniques and patterns are being constructed by designers these days to get a unique and versatile lehenga !

Under cancan you should add one fabric layer or lining so it will not prickly...
