TRUTH about solo hunts. I always felt like a picked up hunt contract should only target another squad with equal or greater number of members. The amount of times I died to 6 man platoons (or even the current 4 man limits) when I ran solo is plain stupid.
I went in as a solo 1 time and ended up being hunted 3 times in a row. I was trying to regain and spent whole game running from 4 man
@@hoyce32000ableI’ve had that many times couple of scubas and a pistol is usually the way to go but it gets annoying when you’re trying to do some things.
Fortunately I've been getting better escaping hunt contracts playing solo. But yeah so annoying especially after you spent so much time raiding or collecting loot to only have in the end a bunch of idiots ganging up on you. But thanks to the game developers, I think their aim is for you to waste money buying special weapon upgrades or character load outs to try to save you. If I lose my shit in Al Mazrah I just go to Vondel and I usually get some good items back again. Of course if you can avoid the hunting squads, but sometimes the more aggressive AI in Vondel can foil their plans. It worked for me a few times. They got so preoccupied with fighting bots, I easily just slipped away.
@@DaytonCarCare do you know what I haven’t even bought mw2 I just downloaded and have played for free since around the end of season 1. I’m not fussed about the characters and you pick up other players guns so I don’t feel then need to shell out for anything. Also the fact the last cod game I bought was vanguard, got sold after 2 weeks I just thought why pay for this crap anymore. I’ve been playing since around 2010 ish if I remember and the games have gotten progressively worse and so much more money orientated. Although I did serpentine solo it took about 2 mths but I did it, camos poor but to do it was quite challenging but satisfying aswell.
@@7frodo7 Yeah I always buy discounted or used games since new releases are stupidly expensive. I've been playing video games even before consoles existed and it was only on PC. I've seen graphics get much better but the cheating is beyond any scale I can think of. Now there's controllers, adapters, and even monitors now with it own AI to mask cheating scripts running in the background. So yeah I'm not investing much into the gaming industry anymore. If they can give me some more free stuff maybe I'll pay for another month of an Xbox subscription.
As someone who routinely actually enter Koschei as a solo to farm RGLs the new ambush strat at the entrance has been killing me

I only play solo and unfortunately there are far too many squads in DMZ that do nothing but hunt and snipe. I'm forced to do only Koshei because if I try to do a raid or a mission and have 3 or 4 idiots ruin it for me. Why don't they play other maps where that is what you're suppose to do and it's more challenging? There's no challenge going after a solo player that is preoccupied with level 3 AI. And all the campers at resupplies, had some idiot try to kill me there but I got him first. Then he whined about losing his stuff to me. "Well don't camp there stupid". Come on people WTF?! Do me a favor leave solo players alone (if you're in a squad.) Many times I've blown up vehicles and helicopters because these idiots want to hunt me. "If you don't want to get blown up leave me alone." LMAO
I used to love the heavy chopper as a solo with important mission loot!
Man, I really miss DMZ and all the fun I used to have. And even though I was so vocal about Activision dropping support for the mode, it just turned toxic for the most part. It definitely isn't friendly to solos, or rather as friendly and that was the only way to play.. oh well, hopefully we see the return of DMZ one of these days!
Yeah people like yellow from the video stand no chance against people who come in just to hunt. Any half decent player would wipe them and it’s not even a fair fight, yellow isn’t even there to fight.
@@User57655 couldn't have said it better myself. I've been the subject of these hunts so many times. And sure, one can argue it's just a game. But being hunted every game, back to back to back just gets old sometimes. It's nice to get a W at times too lmao 🤣🤣
They just need to make pve only DMZ mode for people who dont care about pvp. I would play DMZ to this day if other players didnt ruin it for me
@@alisardius1577 I get what you're saying. And although I do sort of get the want/need for a PvR DMZ, I gotta disagree here. At the end of the day, we've basically got a PvE DMZ already. It's called Zombies. I feel like DMZ, was very much close to having a perfect balance of PvPvE. Unfortunately, the lack of updates and Activision dropping support for the method, created an issue where people had nothing left to work towards. That's where the problems started. Had they kept going with DMZ, I don't think we would have seen anything close to the level of toxicity we see today.
@@ryan9020 and I get what you mean, but I really do want a co-op only DMZ mode alternative. I know about zombies but i hate that and the whole MW3 rework. I just want a game exactly like DMZ where I can meet friendly players and we can form random squads to defeat bosses or do difficult missions. People who enjoy PvPvE can continue playing their mode… everyone is happy

Get hit by 10 bullets = nothing, getting hit by a knife anywhere in the body = instant death from 100% body Armor…. This game sucks
Honestly, the fact that Phix was fully plated and still got one shot by the knife is unfortunate. I feel like I only break plates when someone’s fully plated.
Yeah so many things about the game's damage dynamics are so retarded. They put so much realism in it with weapons, vehicles, etc... but you can slide, jump around, and do unrealistic feats of gymnastics fully armored with the largest backpack. It's a joke. I don't expect a full out mil-sim, but come on developers show some restraint. lol

@@fennyfen1 yep, from point blank while aiming at centre mass as well. Dont worry, they shot after I'd already emptied half a clip into them and they downed me first.
Still, I've hit players with a knife and their one shot shotgun won despite my hit coming first as well.

They should have made koschei open at a random time in the round and only open for 1 to 2 minutes then closes for the remainder of the time. Or have a random spawn for a key to access it.

Is it a rapid fire glitch? I remember getting killed one time with multiple grenade blast that seemed to come from the sky. I didn't think much of it since there is so much cheating in games I just left the lobby and started over.

I was in a bank looting solo with a pistol and a team of 4 pulled up out of nowhere
Somehow managed to kill 3 of them and the 4th one kept bombarding me from the windows I'm not joking the sound it makes is horrifying. Eventually he pushed me and I would've killed him but it one shotted me with my 2 plate vest ( could be more than one shot I wasn't paying attention that much to the killcam)
The grenade launcher isn't too bad as long as you can hide in a building but they also do it with the drill charge and there's no getting away from it, as soon as I hear the noise from it I get as far away as possible and get out, if I get chance I'll tell the lobby where the cheats are

Tbh I kinda respect throwing knife kills because it’s a bit difficult, but I hate the fact that it sometimes down a fully plated player. One or two is fine, but three plates down is unacceptable.
How did he down you with full plates with a knife? I’ve thrown knives at plenty of players when their fully plated and all I get is armor breaks..
If you throw above chest height it insta-downs them.

I don't know of almost giving up on DMZ I was playing it every day since before season 1 up until this weekend I just couldn't do it anymore I wish they would at least go in like ever like 3 months and do like a complete wipe again cuz then it would have guess the people something to play for cuz right now it's turned into either kill it every team in the lobby or be killed can't do nothing else

I play DMZ for the first time in over almost 10 months. I went in solo both times because the people I used to play with sold me out is why I stopped playing. Anyways both times I was hunted right away 1 by contract and 1 by just squads doing nothing but PVP. the 1 by just people hunting ran me over with a vehicle when I stopped to tell them I am solo and just not here for PVP just to get familiar with the game again and do missions and reupp. They laughed at me and killed me. The first one I brought in money to reupp and they immediately hunted me by contract and went after anyone with alot of money and all of them had rocket launchers and one shot snipers or shotguns.. there was 4 of them already 5 secs into the match which I found kinda odd. The numerous amounts of EXfills is just fine. Some people just want to be left alone and not shot at at 5 secs of the game. I understand you are voicing your opinion but there is too many gamer influencers that play DMZ making this complaint. They dont care or think about the little guys doing their own thing.

Koschei glitching is for the weak. I'm sick of my random teammates all saying they're glitching out, stop being a b#@ch and come to the final exfil.
Same as when I pick up a hunt squad, so many of them run for the Koschei. Why are people so scared to fight? It's not as though its difficult to get geared back up again. Do some PvP, throw yourself into bad situations and you will learn from mistakes and improve.
This extraction via complex is ruining all competitiveness.

People that hunt others I believe they don't find DMZ missions to be fun anymore. So they hunt other players. I got that. But what really pisses me off is when I get downed adn request help and they don't get me up. So I have to start all over again. When I down someone "when needed" I always try to help. I believe the feeling of getting Exfill should not be voided to anyone
Ummm the point of DMZ is not to be PVP only… that is why al maz is so great is because it is for the casual player… don’t complain that people that don’t like enjoy confrontation chose to go different exfils and don’t go final… Play WZ if you want that… sheesh peeps
Why yall content creators think that everything should be they way yall want it some of that stuff was made to help the people that’s not as good as yall
