I can share something that helped me 1. Plan towards it 2. Be Frugal and minimal on spending (don’t buy why you don’t need) 3. Save money towards retirement 4. Save to invest, this is most important because it’s a proven way to get rich. Very important path to financial success

Yup. The living room is the formal dining room in my country also. I can understand 2 separate rooms if you're entertaining a lot of people quite often. Otherwise, just a waste of space, materials and money.
