The DS version was my childhood, my friend did have the Wii version which I did for like a few seconds. But Ultimate was my once chance to play the game on console

I REALLY wish the true final boss was included in the Wii version. The black hole escape was fire, but the ultimate timeline is where saving the Mother Wisp releases the black hole and we get both sequences in one game.
I grow up with sonic colours Wii the final boss was hard and once I reached the end credits music I sing along with it cause it’s so good forever have a place in my heart ❤️

I grew up with the wii and didn't know the that that the ds and 3ds versions of the sonic games existed since my youngest brother had a habit of dismantling any gadgets he could get his hands on

The DS Port has so much more content, its a wee bit longer. I wish they would have put these stages in ultimate. Like honestly, Sonic colors wii plus DS would be the greatest sonic remake ever known to mankind.

Like I never got the argument that Ultimate looks ugly. It looks better than the original. They should have remade the cutscenes though.
Also I think Heroes deserves a Remake. Those controls are slippery as heck.

It’s a Colors Ultimate mod that basically fixes Sonic Colors Ultimate and makes actual graphical improvements
In the words of the creator,”What originally was going to be purely visual it has grown a bit in scale. I want to deliver the superior Sonic Colors experience.”
I’ve seen it described as “what if the original Sonic Colors was released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 instead of the Wii?”
I should mentioned that it hasn’t been officially released but there’s a lot of footage from the creator handing out builds to other TH-camrs.
