I just got this from Amazon today for $22. I already have the Baroque Satin Oud. 2 bottles, but I've had my eye on the Barakkat version and snatched it up at that $22 bucks price. Can't wait to get it next Tuesday. Love your videos Sir, Have a God blessed year!

How was it?
I'm waiting on this one to arrive. I also got barakkat gentle gold and I loooved it! I've been binged watching your videos 😅 they help me a lot on deciding if it worth getting a fragrance or not. I trust your fragrance. judgement 😊
Wow ! First let me say thank you for the support im a man of the people so you can always expect honesty from me when giving my thoughts on a fragrance, this one is really good and a powerful performer I think you will like even if at first smell you not to fond of it don’t give up on it I think it will grow on you typically females love this one from the start more so then men !

I keep hearing alot about rose fragrances for men, but I’ve never smelled one- so I be hesitant to cop- but I’m gonna give this a try- worst case scenario- I give it to a lady friend.
I feel you brother some may not like it but it’s blended really well and it’s a monster performer !
I do have the Baroque Satin Mood, definitely strong, and long lasting, waiting for cooler weather to get down here in S Fla, so I can rock this one, we still having 90F temps.

With winter fragrances I just go with decants for niche and call it a day when it’s spring/summer 10 months a year.

This stuff is eternal. I swear out of my 300+ fragrances, none of them last like this, and I don't even go nose blind to it. It's just projecting all day long, still there when I go to take a shower before bed. It reminds me of Turkish Delight, it's a fabulous autumn/winter scent for anyone, male, female, binary - even cats and dogs could rock this. I was wearing it at an MFK counter in a high end store once and the lady behind the counter said you're wearing Oud Satin Mood aren't you. Little did she know 😂
These Barakkats may not be subtle in their presentation and what they're cloning, but man they're powerful. The Rouge 540 one, although I hate the smell personally and it makes me want to vomit, is also insane with its performance as I bought a bottle for someone that loves MFK BR540 - the Grand Soir one is also nuclear, although I prefer Lattafa's Eternal Oud myself for it's twist on GS. I really need to complete the set as I think there's another 2 or 3 of them.

I just got my samples of BR540 Extrait and Oud Satin Mood from DecantX and I'm certainly surprised how close Barakkat's rendition smells to the real deal.

This is really close to original, i mean over 90%, i would say 95. I have a decant of oud satin mood, and at some moments they're identical! Even has that bubble gum caramel sweet aspect, fakes and clones have a fake vanilla rose combo, but not this one!

Is your barakkat released this year? Got mine today and i barely smell anything, if there is then its faint. The ministry of oud was louder even from the day it was delivered.

Maybe I just got a bad bottle but the one I got from Amazon doesn’t really last on my skin. I get like maybe 3-4 hours max with 12+ sprays. Doesn’t even really last on my clothes either
Wow ! Might not be the best chemistry with your skin let it sit for a bit then revisit if same results put it up for sale
Make sure you’re not rubbing it on your skin, that ruins the chemistry. Wear it as an oil.
12+ sprays? You definitely experienced nasal fatigue at first spray, even if you can't smell it after 12 sprays.
Which bottle is the right one? Online I see one that is like blackish in one and then others I see like a blue bottle? And also the boxes are different too one is black while the other is dark blue? So just unsure and wanted to check

Got it 2 days ago. It smells like strong soap. So far I don't like it. Will have to see after it sits for a month or two

Be warned, this smells like a baby’s bottom. It’s the rose. It’s so powdery and prominent. Two sprays max. I’m not joking.
