After watching your vid today I fitted the Oxfords to my 2022 Vstrom 650. Really helpful having watched your vid before! 2 LL: 1. just use small amount of the adhesive (otherwise wiped away when putting the grips on); 2. the challenge to lay/fix the cables should not be underestimated (full turnable handle bar, hidden/rainprotected connectors...).
Hi Jim, thanks for watching and your support. I can't quite remember how long it took me as trying to film while doing it probably would have been longer than needed. Should be able to do the job under an hour. They are definitely worth the money, mine are always on in the cold weather. Cheers
Hey I'll use your video to help do mine on my 2014. Is there any difference between the different Adventure, Sport, Touring versions ? It looks like its just the design of the grip surface
I couldn't get the right grip on all the way on my 2021 V-Strom. I had to trim the end of the grip on the end. In the beginning of it near the throttle housing is an inch gap. Sucks but I literally got it on half way easy and then couldn't advance it... Couldn't off either.
hi , sorry for the late reply. that sucks to happen. some people say they use a lacquer spray. it makes it slippery and lets you slide it on before it dries. sometimes even using an air gun helps.
It looks like you are connecting right to the battery. That’s what I’ve done but I would prefer to hook them up to the stator. Otherwise there is a risk of forgetting to turn them off and drain the battery.

Pro tip....use a hair dryer for a few minutes to heat the grip to make it easier to pull off.
Sorry about the music being a bit loud looking back at the video. It was an early one , still learning.
went well with the video. compressed air if you got it and lil nosil works for effortless grip removallearned from grand father
Thanks for the video, you made it look simple. Do you remember how long it took you to do the install. Cheers from Canada!

No probs they are intelligent controlled so after a couple of minutes or so they turn off by themselves. the older model didn't have this feature.
Good video. Great background music bud.
Thanks for watching and commenting, cheers
