Amboseli National Park in Southern Kenya, right on the border of Tanzania, with it’s hulking mass of Kilimanjaro peering over the border, is quite possibly our favorite park in East Africa.
This may sound crazy, but compared to all the better known rockstar parks like Ngorogoro, Serengeti and Maasai Mara, we actually rated Amboseli higher.
Rich wildlife and game viewing, the ring and yang of dry dusty planes and then emerald green swamps and lakes, flamingos feeding alongside wildebeest, more Elephant than you can shake a stick at, including the biggest Tuskers we have seen make it very special.
THEN, add in the predator sightings, including Melanistic Serval, and the ever present Kilimanjaro towering up out of the plains……we could go on and on.
If you go to one park in your life, go to Amboseli.
Thanks to4x4 Mega World and SmartCap for their support to make these experiences even more awesome.

Yes it's a striking reserve with its backdrop.
It was my first ever African reserve in 1987 and didn't disappoint. Great to see the big tuskers AND cheetah

Fantastic episode, we've been binge watching your videos. Was this in 2019? Do you have a site where you discuss your trip log, recommended parks/camps and costs? Apologies for all the questions, but it would be very helpful to us future travelers.

Hi Jo. Thanks so much. It’s so cool that you follow and find our videos fun. No this is current. We were there just 7 weeks ago. We are current in Malawi. You are so welcome to ask any questions. We have not published so much actually trip info but we do have it written down. Our Facebook page probably has the most current info. Search for @4ina4x4
