That update is exactly as I imagined it since I saw "The Cage" CE. Making every character a paper cut was a very nice touche! Good job animators, you did a really good job!

It also might be the case of the previous type-moon works is just so iconic to a servant, it just become part of their fame (to the viewers), so they add it in FGO. Just like how Zerkerlot got his minigun & fighter jet because it so iconic in Zero, Andersen did use his NP on Kiara, effectively making a Kiara story to add to his line of works
Rama’s interlude was about unlocking his NP that lets him use all his other weapons, and that got reflected in his animation update. Given that Kama’s event does confirm that Kiara came to our Chaldea, and Kiara has the Independent Manifestation skill, we can just treat her appearing in Hans’ attacks as a result of them simultaneously being together in our Chaldea. As for Lancelot, even though the story doesn’t really try to justify it, I’ll just personally pretend that Da Vinci made them for him to take advantage of his Knight or Owner NP. Or Chaldea happened to have them in stock. Whichever. Heck, Tamamo Vitch has her own magic rocket launchers and even sold one to Kirei-Rasputin, so why not.
